If We Could Have the Day Before
If we could get back Wednesday ,
It wouldn’t have just been hump day.
It wouldn’t have just been the 5th of the month,
If we could've gotten back Wednesday,
We would’ve told you how much we love you,
We would’ve given you a big hug and kiss on the forehead;
We would’ve spent hours talking;
We would’ve enjoyed each other’s company.
Only if we could get back Wednesday;
We would have said our Happy Birthdays early,
And our I love you too’s.
Right now, all we want is to get back Wednesday;
Just to tell you no matter the distance,
We love you with our whole hearts;
Even if we are close or far apart.
We just want to have Wednesday with you.
Love your sisters,
Jennifer & Valerie
The Final Flight
(Unknown Arthur)
Don’t grieve for me for now I’m free. I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard the call, I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day to laugh, to love, to work, and to play.
Task left undone must stay that way, I’ve found that peace at the end of the day.
If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things too, I will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much; Good friend, good times, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all to brief, Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.
Love your brother, Edmond
Don’t Cry For Me
You guided me through all my years,
It will be impossible to hold back these tears.
I know you are in a better place,
But if I only had another look at your smiling face.
When I think of your new home, it fills me with joy.
Everyone knows I’ll always be your baby boy.
When I think of you, I try not to break down.
I hear you say I’m in Heaven and I’m happy now.
Me losing you is so bitter and sweet, I lay at times and cry myself asleep.
I know all your pain and suffering is gone;
It feels good knowing Heaven’s your new home.
“I am with God, happy as can be, so y’all smile, be happy, and Don’t Cry for Me.”
Love your brother, Quintin

Reflections of Life
Tomikia Shantel Morrow was born August 11, 1977 to Barbara Walton
and Leroy Scott. She departed this life Thursday, June 6, 2019.
Tomikia graduated from Bolivar Central High School. At an early age
she professed Christ as her Lord and Savior at Mays Hill M.B. Church.
In her adult life , she attended Greater Victory Church under the
leadership of Pastor BL Jackson. Tomikia was a very loving and caring
person. She would never say no if you needed her help for anything.

Tomikia leaves to cherish her memory: her loving and devoted mother,

and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
To my Aunt
I’m lost without you but I’m glad your mind and
body is at peace; at peace from all of your pain and
suffering that you went through. You were my best
friend that I told absolutely everything. It hurts me
to know that you don’t need me to help you do
things anymore. I can’t call you when I’m bored
or take random pictures in your phone for you to
look at and laugh at them when you see them later
on; but those memories that I will forever hold
close to my heart, I love you more than you will
ever know and I appreciate everything and every
dollar that you have ever spent on me. I love you
Meka forever and always.
Love Always, Deshia
