DESCRIPTION

A 30-minute presentation for the 2014 Robotics Season. Students learn how they can use the social platforms to create awareness of their teams, showcase their members, coaches, sponsors and catalogue the journey from build to competition. The importance of being safe while being on social media channels is also discussed. There is an Alamo-FIRST resource board on Pinterest which has inforgraphic information on safety online. There are also design blueprint information and more. We address the Media and Technology Innovation Award criteria and take a look at the 2013 winner, Panteras FRC 2283 out of Mexico City. Finally we brainstorm some creative ideas for using social media to tell the entire story.
