Welcome to the first chapter. The plot haven’t started yet, but it’s about to start.

Special thanks to David for letting me use his simself.

Evangeline didn’t even stay to see her best friend getting married. She packed her things and left the house. She was free, and she would marry the love of her teenage years.

After finding a non-finished house, she called the gypsy.

-Hey Carla, would you please get me a date? Yeah, I know I have to pay for it. But please, make David appear, i miss him.

- Let’s see what we can do.

She tried several times, and not even a sign of David… “Maybe he moved out of town? “ . Silly thoughts and insecurity assailing her mind.

One or two days after the Gypsy’s incident, Evangeline discovered David worked on the same company as her.

She invited him over and they spent quite some time talking. Truth was, they missed each other which proved it was no puppy love like Uncle Mortimer had said once.

- I found heaven on earth, you are my last, my first… - Evangeline sang, almost crying.

It had been so many years, and the flame was still there. They never forgot each other, and they couldn’t , even if they tried.

- So, are we together again?

- Are you serious? I waited 6 years for this, Eva. I can’t picture my life with anyone else.

“I’ll do it, Uncle Mortimer, but I’ll do it with a purpose” . Evangeline couldn’t forget her own words. What was her purpose, after all?...

When she left the bedroom, something told her: “That’s it. I’m going to change the world. Each generation will be based on a different culture that will be spread by the heir and spares”.

She made her mind.

It was a pleasure for her to go to work the next few days, David would be there.

Evangeline and David knew they belonged together, so they lost their virginity the night before the wedding.

Uncle Mortimer would have told her to wait one more night, but what was she thinking? Uncle Mortimer would never let her marry David. He was an orphan.

-Evangeline Crumplebottom, it might seem that I’m rushing things, but the look in your eyes tells me this is the right time: Will you marry me?

- Yes, yes, yes!! I’ve been waiting for so long…

-Just a picture, Daffs, come on.

- Anything for you, my wife.

Wedding day, 8 March 1930

3 years later…

- David, save me. The baby will die. Please, call the fire department!! – Evangeline said, more worried about the baby than she was with herself.

After all those years, Evangeline still thought about Cassandra. How was she doing..? Maybe she was still married to that jerk..? David didn’t like him either, but he never said why.

Across town, at Don’s place

-Come here, Dina babe... – Don Lothario told her, while his wife was at work.

She really looks better than Cassandra. I don’t know why she insists in those stupid dresses. Evangeline is long gone, why can’t she understand that?

Another day in paradise. Blonde chick, check; redhead chick, check; raven chick, check.

Back to the main lot

Evangeline woke up that night with a strange pain in her abdomen.

- Pao, what are you doing here? – Evangeline asked in a nervous tone.

- What? I heard the screams so I came in to see if you were okay.

- Now, get lost you moron! – David yelled at him. His voice filled with anger.

- And may I never see your ass face again!!

David kicked him out of the house, he disliked those townies, specially since he became one.

- Come on, drink it Aidan Callum. Be a good boy.

* Aidan Callum is Evangeline and David’s newly born son. The cause for Evangeline’s pain that night.

2 years later

Aidan was growing up that day. Evangeline tossed him in the air, feeling like trouble would be coming.

He grew up into a cute boy with a personality of 10/7/3/3/2.

Immediately after his makeover, Aidan was put in his crib and did something very strange for a neat freak like himself.

Not too much time passed since his birthday, and Aidan was already talking. He sure was a prodigy.

Evangeline was pregnant again, for David’s delight – he wanted to see 6 children getting married. Evangeline, although she’d rather be with her friends all day, was willing to please David.

- Mummy, why is your tummy big?

- My tummy is giving you a little brother or sister to play with.

- I don’t like brothers and sisters, I like me. – Aidan was a very egotist little kid who was not ready to share his parents attention. He was the older kid, and he didn’t want to give up on that.

- Hey kiddo. I wonder how many are in there!

- Am I fat already? I don’t wanna be fat.

- You look perfect, Eva.

- You never told me what happened between you and Don and before you became a townie…

-How many times do I have to tell you I don’t want to talk about it?

- I’m sorry, I’ve been your wife for 5 years and I deserve to know…

- Please, leave me alone.

And with that, David left to their bedroom.

What happened, Eva? He’s just the cause for everything that’s bad in my past. David thought and remembered everything in his head.

We used to play cops and robbers. The bastard always won. Lala, the orphanage's owner, called us for dinner this one time.

We used to chat about how we’d be adopted by a nice family. I secretly wished I’d be adopted by the same family as him.

We used to hug and say we were bros. That’s the way I felt about him, at least.

-It’s not gonna be that bad. You have to think about David’s happiness… - I heard Lala saying that to Don Lothario one day, I was going to be adopted.

- I should be the one, not him. He’s stupid and dumb.

- I think you need to be left alone. Be more nice, or else you won’t be getting your Christmas present.

-Hey Don. I hope you’re not mad at me, I promise it won’t change our friendship.

- Shut up, dumbass. Do I think I care about our friendship? I just want to get out of this place. I should be the one getting adopted. Not you.

- It’s not my fault I have the perfect genetic.

I took Mr. Callum with me and ran away. I didn’t want to be adopted, I liked being at the orphanage.

I thought about swallowing my pride and go back, but the memory of that bad day wouldn’t let me. Now that I think about it, that was no need to run away, I’d have been happy.

-David, David wait…

Evangeline had slept on the couch, not wanting to disturb David.

- I’ll wait here. I’ve waited for you for so long, I can wait a couple of hours more.

- I’m so sorry Daffs. I didn’t mean to disturb you.

- It’s okay, Eva. I’ll tell you in due time. Now, we have a birthday party to attend.

- Before heading home, I went shopping and I saw your uncle. He didn’t recognize me.

The party was pure fun. David and Evangeline weren’t dressed properly, and neither did they have good smustle faces (sorry, David):

- WOW, I’m big, look at me you people.

Aidan Callum looks more like David, but has his mother’s mouth.

And here ends the chapter. Special thanks to David (once again) and to Beyonce, since I quoted one of her songs somewhere in the chapter.
