Carl was born in Karlsruhe on 25 november1844

He later set up his own firm with mechanic August Ritter

In 1883 with some financial help he setup BENZ & CO, GASMOTOREN – FABRIK

In1886 he got patent for motor car Carl Benz….

Daimler Motoren Gasellchaft started to produce bicycles.
