Tip #2: Always consider your audienceYou have a message you want to be heard, but how you decide to share this message will fall flat unless it’s tailored to your target audience.

Identify your target audiences and consider what content is most relevent for them.

Sitemaps are a great way to think out your user journey and plan where your content will live
This could be as simple as a pen and paper list.
Questions to ask yourself:
+ What is the purpose of this page?
+ Does this page help me meet my goal forthis website? How?
+ Does this page provide relevent content formy target audience?
+ What kinds of information will I be posting on this page? (Copy, photos, video etc.)
+ Does this page give my user an actionableitem to follow?
Tip #4: Use your website goal to make key content decisions
Why are you creating this website?
Having a clear goal helps to frameyour entire project.
Every time you add a new page or piece of contentmake sure you ask:
+ Does this help me achieve my goal?
+ Is this relevent for my audience? Will it ressonatewith them?
+ Am I providing value?

Tip #5: Don’t fall victim to content delay syndrome
Content is tough. It’s not just the copy on the pageit’s all the pieces that fill up your website.
+ Content requires you to be a curator of what copy, photos, video, and other assets you already have. Italso requires you to think about what’s missing to fillin the blanks
+ Content requires you to create a system where previously there may not have been one
+ Content requires you to invest a lot of time forresearch, writing, collecting, editing
