The Metallwerkstatt Tacheles is an international ar-tist collective organizing world-famous art projects since 1992: Ateliers open to public, residencies for ar-tists, exhibitions, the association art pro Tacheles…
Hundreds of artists have taken part in these projects over the years, exchanging knowledge and contributing to making very special working and exhibition spaces.
The first Atelier of the Metallwerkstatt tache-les was located in the famous art house Tache-les in Berlin Mitte until its evacuation in 2013.
Since 2012, in the attempt to multiply the successful expe-rience of this initial project, the artists collective initiated the Mobile Atelier Project (MAP), constructing tempo-rary ateliers for artists, creating space for free art and culture in different neighborhood of Berlin and abroad.This year, the Metallwerkstatt Tacheles started three projects: MAP#2 “Garten der Erinnerung” in Berlin, Neukölln, MAP#3 in istanbul, Turkey, and MAP#4 Tha-randter wald, Germany.This catalogue presents the latest works of the metal sculptors produced within the frame of those 3 Mobile Atelier Projects in Istanbul, Berlin and Tharandter wald.

hüseYin ArdA Geboren 1969 im türkischen eskisehir, ist Arda einer der ersten Künstler, der an der Künstleri-nitiative Tacheles beteiligt war. Seit 1992 hat er als Metallbildhauer gearbeitet, diverse Stad-traum-Kunstprojekte entwickelt und internatio-nale Kunstausstellungen kuratiert.
Born in Eskisehir Turkey, in 1969, Arda is one of the first artists involved in the Artist initia-tiv Tacheles. Since 1992, he has been sculp-ting metal, developed several urban art pro-jects and curated international art exhibitions.

Geboren in Paris, studierte emilie Got-mann Design und Metallhandwerk an der l’école bOUlle in Paris. 2009 zog sie nach berlin und arbeitet seitdem an ihren Skulp-turen in der Metallwerkstatt Tacheles.
Born in Paris, Emilie Gotmann studied design and metal crafts at L’école BOULLE, Paris. She moved to Berlin in 2009 and works on her sculp-tures in the Metallwerkstatt Tacheles since then.

luca Ciavarella ist 1980 in den italienischen Alpen geboren. er studierte erziehungswissenschaften in der Universität von bologna. er verbrachte eine lange zeit in Kalifornien, brasilien und der Türkei, wo er an verschiedenen experimentellen Kunstprojekten arbeitete. er arbeitet seit 2008 in der Metallwerkstatt Tacheles.
lucA cIAvArellALuca Ciavarella is born in 1980 in the Italian Alpes. He graduated from the University of Bo-logna with a degree in education. He spent a long time in California, Brazil and Turkey, wor-king on experimental artistic projects of various kinds. Since 2008, he works in the Metallwerks-tatt Tacheles.
