• You don’t want to work for someone else for a fixed salary.

• You don’t want the hassles of business either:

• Raising/ investing the startup capital,

• then setting up office,

• registering own company (optional though),

• hiring right people,

• then managing those people etc etc

Why Confused?

There are many people who want to take the Entrepreneurial path, that means doing

something by their own, but when they see the lives of most Entrepreneurs, they prefer to stay in

their jobs.

I'm in no way judging any of the professions. Purpose of this report is to let people know that starting a business

now-a-days is not what it used to be.

Anyone can start their own business from home, with

• no experience and

• very little investment (just a computer and internet connection may be).

Also Home Based Business (HBB) is much easier to maintain than any traditional business. Let me tell you all the reasons to start your Home Based Business.

1. Low Investment (sometimes no investment):

• Greatest obstacle in starting a business for most people is ‘money’.

• Not everyone knows how to raise capital or is comfortable with following the steps to do it.

Home Based Business is a relief for them! As it can be started with

• Low capital.

• Sometimes no capital!

2. Can Be Done Part-Time: Most people start thinking about starting their business while they are in some jobs.

• How can they manage 2 offices - one they are doing Job in and another where they run their business?

• How can they hire people for their business, who’ll work in their absence or after they finish their job hours?

But in Home Based Business, you can always start part time!

• Get back home from office, and start putting 1-2 hours/day at first.

• Then when your business income exceeds your salary, you can quit your job if you want.

“Entrepreneurship / business is risky” – popular notion for most people.

But, how can Home Based Business be risky, when:

• You can start part-time with your current job.

• You are starting with low / no expenses.

I went to an Entrepreneur’s meetup recently, where everyone (except me) agreed that “work life balance is a myth for Entrepreneurs” .

But for many people 'life' specially 'time with family' is very very important which they can't compromise for their work. I am one of such people.

• Yes I love my work, but I want to spend more time living.

• I want to work when I feel like, not when I must.

Home based business gives you this flexibility of time.

And this is why more and more women specially mothers are choosing it as their profession.

[ Just think about it, how happy kids will be to see their parents spending more time at home with them than working in office

leaving them.]

• You don’t need office for HBB right?

• Your HBB isn’t attached your home either, in most cases!

• Most Home based Businesses can be run from a Laptop/ Mobile / Tab.

• Where rest of the world plan for a holiday trip once in a year, you can travel to places you like to see, throughout the year and work remotely from there!

• Imagine yourself sitting at your favorite beach, sipping your favorite drinks, and making Skype calls with your clients (+ earning money)!

5. Laptop/ Mobile Lifestyle

All traditional businesses use offices, but

• Offices are costly.

• Also the reach is limited to the local clients.

As most modern HBB can be run online

• You save the huge expenses of establishment.

• You can do business with anyone from anywhere in the world.

6. No office, no physical boundaries:

Some of you might love your employees (may be you got angels as your employees)

But for most people • Hiring the right people,

• supervising a team,

• motivating them to work productively,

• tracking their performance,

• firing when necessary,

• training them with latest skills,

• making sure that they are not using your company's phone to talk to their spouse

are severe headaches many are not willing to take!

HBB brings the good news! • Most HBB can be run using

technology, without any employees.

• You can always outsource less important tasks to freelancers.

• If you must hire employees ever, you can have virtual employees, who will work from their home and will be paid not for hours but for getting job done!
