What is Adjective?

Adjective is a word that describe or modify a noun (another person or thing) in the

sentence.

Types of Adective

1. Demonstrative Adjectives2. Interrogative Adjectives3. Indefinite Adjectives4. Personal titles5. Numbers

1. Demonstrative adjective

The adjectives that demonstrate and indicate something.

e.g: that, this, those, these

2. Interrogative Adjectives

An interrogative adjective is like an interrogative pronoun, except that it

modifies a noun or noun phrase rather than standing on its own.

e.g: which, what, where, when, who 

3. Indefinite Adjectives

Indefinite adjectives do not point out specific things like demontrative

adjectives do. e.g: any, no, many, few, several

4. Personal titles

Personal titles such as Mrs., Mr., aunty, uncle, doctor, and Lord are

considered adjectives when they are attached to a noun.

5. Numbers

Numbers are also classified as adjectives.
