ASL Gloss reminders- 1. NOUN ADJECTIVE (eg. MAN SMART) 2. Find one noun and adjective pair in your gloss,

and write it here (in correct order): ____________ _____________ (NOUN) (ADJECTIVE)

Now, Gloss check- have a copy of your gloss out and ready (this meets last Friday’s daily grade).

Get a red MASL! Book and use the index to look up any signs you need (or an idevice).

For today’s daily grade, after I check you have it, you

will practice and sign them (while I watch ) . You can practice now too if you are

ready.

Doorbuster: Show your current work on Audism to someone else (a partner, or group of 3); give feedback to them on what to do next (tell them one thing great, and one thing they need to fix or still do)

iTouches available for check-out Class- tomorrow, sub day, you will generate a list of

vocabulary signs you need (for this project, or that came up while trying to gloss it)

Binion Elementary people- Mandatory meeting Wednesday 7:10 am here (only excused if due to coach, etc. –see me today if need it excused)

Draft/complete glosses. Show me by end of class. –Presentations this week (Wednesday/Thursday)

topic (TIME, and maybe OBJECT and/or SUBJECT), or the rhetorical question – over the entire question, but not the answer.

4. Multiple numbers: palm stays out (eg. 1945, 1737)

Use the red MASL! Book index or an idevice to help you look up signs you need (you are responsible to be sure you have correct signs).

and check each others’ glosses- check it is in caps, only a word for each sign, and encourage them to add lines if missing

5. Fix glosses, look up signs, practice again
