BEFORE YOUR CLASS: Take time to explore Zoom.us. You can even set up a FREE Account and practice holding meetings with family and friends. This is a

great way to become familiar with Zoom. Simply type “zoom.us” in your web browser and click on the orange button SIGN UP, IT’S FREE.

Please note that YOUR CLASS will be meeting as follows ONLINE using Zoom and the Invitation is below. NOTE that you cannot join your class before your Host/Teacher is there at the time below.

HOW TO ATTEND YOUR ZOOM CLASS! You will need a smart phone, tablet, laptop or PC with wifi (internet) to attend your class.

YOU’RE INVITED! See your class unique ID web address including the meeting ID.

Second way: use the MEETING ID # (in example 93198440771) and PASSWORD (If applicable): go to zoom.us to Join a Meeting and

enter when prompted.

JOIN YOUR CLASS! Once at the ZOOM website, click on ZOOM file / icon to download & run Zoom to your device.

MEET YOUR TEACHER! Wait for host (TEACHER) to start the meeting (Class) at the time listed

SAY WHAT? To hear and speak select Join Audio conference by either pressing Test Computer Audio button clicking on microphone icon once in a meeting

LIGHTS – CAMERA – ACTION! Connect to the video, by clicking on the Video Camera icon at screen bottom left

COOL TOOLS at tool bar on bottom – move your cursor over to click Mute - MICROPHONE Icon located at bottom left; class started in Mute Stop Video - VIDEO ICON located at bottom to right of microphone Participants - Click here to click on RAISE or LOWER HAND Chat - Ask questions Share Screen - Host / teacher must enable this in order for you to share documents etc. from your computer to the group Leave Meeting or End RED button - to exit your Zoom class
