Zombieland Introduction In the opening sequence of the horror film “Zombieland”, it shows a low angle of a man falling from a set of stairs with a “zombie” trying to catch the man. The whole scene is put into slow motion to make the action look much more dramatic. It is also a montage throughout the opening scene of the movie because of the quick snappy clips and the music that plays with it. The song that is played is from Metallica; this is very appropriate and relevant to what is going on throughout the visual. Whilst the guy is falling, there are on screen credits and when he falls onto them, special effects make the letters crumble into pieces after impact which makes the scene look more real and adds a realistic touch to too it. The costume of the zombie was very casual showing that the monster was just a normal person before it happened. But, the makeup on the zombie made it look terrifying with blood all over its clothing and face, making it looks hungry for human brains! The clip after that is set on a normal setting on a motorway, in the background you are able to see the cars in a jam, which shows the hectic situation, were everyone is rushing to get away from the troubles.
