CorporateMESSAGE FROM FLO, HEAD OF CAREThe New Zoë’s Place has now been open for 5 months and we are taking fulladvantage of our great new facilities. Our babies and families are now able tobenefit from all the extra space and equipment that we have. The dining/kitchenroom provides a welcoming entrance to our visitors and we have enjoyed bakingwith the children and hope the families have enjoyed the treats too!

Our sensory and play garden is hopefully going to be completed for late spring. This area has been designed and developed to enhance and provideoutside sensory play and relaxation.

Why set up a regulardonation?A direct debit is the most efficient way todonate to Zoë’s Place. Direct debits allowour Hospice to plan ahead, ensuring we havea reliable source of income for key projectsand expenditure.

What could your regulargift buy?• £3 per month helps to fund items whichare intended to enhance our specialbabies play and stimulation.

• £5 per month helps cover the cost of NHSsupplies such as latex gloves, hand gel, baby wipes, syringes.

• £10 per month pays for 1 x Oxygen Cylinder.• £20 per month pays for a child to have 1hour in the hydrotherapy pool.

Please help us raise the £1,200,000 a year itcosts to keep the doors of Zoë's Place BabyHospice open for the families that rely onour vital care and support.

You give named persons authority to act after you have died -to arrange your funeral, deal with your money and property. You name whoyou wish to benefit - family members and charity (hopefully Zoë’s Place). For more information please contact J&C on 0151 282 1700

Textile Recycling It’s estimated that more than 1 million tonnes of textiles are thrown away each year! Currently we onlyrecycle 25% of textiles. Textiles account for 3% of household waste.

BCR can re-use and recycle almost any type of wearable textile, including t-shirts, shoes, belts etc. Textiles unsuitable for re-use are recycled. Cottons and linen are cut down to be re-used as industrial wipes.Materials such as wool are ‘pulled’ and made into fresh yarn, or re-used as felt for stuffing upholstery.

We would like to encourage our supporters to put wearable clothes, shoes and other textiles into plastic bags and take them to a Zoë’s Place branded textile bank. Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice receives £200 per tonne of weighed in items. Please visit our website at www.zoes-place.org.uk/liverpool to see where your nearesttextile bank is located.
