The summer of 2021 is almost here, and with it comes longer days, warmer weather, and the chance to be outside a whole lot more. I am looking forward to it. Yet like last year, none of us are sure of the precautions that we will need to take as the pandemic con-tinues. What about masks, social dis-tancing, and sanitizing our hands? How will these restrictions be affected by people choosing not to be vaccinated? Will there be full family reunions and live concerts later this sum-mer, or students in classrooms and fans in Beaver Stadium this Fall? And what about worship here at Zion? I know its frustrat-ing, it is to me, not knowing exactly when we can worship and see one another’s faces, or invite the children up front for a message! When we will be able to leave our pew when passing the peace, share communion together, or host a fellowship meal after the service! When we can fully sing the praises of our Lord! We will continue to take small steps in broadening our worship experience, and our learning and fellowship activities. Yet the timeline to include these continues to be in flux. Thank you for your patience and understanding through it all, and our contin-ued commitment to the safety of one another, and our commu-nity at large. I am not sure what this summer will bring, except that the steps we take will provide the opportunity to rediscover and reimagine ways that we can share Christ’s love with one anoth-er, and with our world. Let’s not rush to get back to normal, but to use this opportunity to explore how Christ’s love informs all that we do! Peace,
