ZAMPRO Fungicide technology sheet Why choosing ZAMPRO makes sense ZAMPRO’s two modes of action combine to form a powerful fungicide with systemic, translaminar, preventative and anti-sporulant control of Downy mildew and Late blight in key horticultural crops. How ZAMPRO works ZAMPRO is comprised of two distinct active ingredients, each attacking disease with a different mode of action. Apply ZAMPRO on a 5-10 day interval depending on the crop (See label for crop-specific directions). - Under high downy mildew or late blight pressure, use a shorter spray interval. When to apply ZAMPROZAMPRO should be applied preventatively for best results. Its anti-sporulant activity allows ZAMPRO to stop the spread of disease hot spots in the field or vineyard.
Apply ZAMPRO on a 5-10 day interval depending onthe crop (See label for crop-specific directions).- Under high downy mildew or late blight pressure, use a shorter spray interval.
Apply a maximum of two sequential applications of ZAMPRO then rotate to Non-Group 40 or 45 productswith alternate modes of action.

Ametoctradin (Group 45)inhibits the respiration inthe mitochondria
Ametoctradin (Group 45), a unique mode of action thatdisrupts energy production within the mitochondria offungal cells. Ametoctradin rapidly and tightly binds tothe plants’ waxy cuticle, giving rapidly rainfast protection.
Dimethomorph (Group 40) controls disease by rupturingfungal cell walls.
Ametoctradin, one of ZAMPRO’s active ingredients, is rapidly andtightly absorbed and bound to the waxy cuticle of plants. (Magnification: 3.0 µm).

How much ZAMPRO to apply
Working with ZAMPROZAMPRO’s liquid formulation is great to work with. Itrinses easily from the jug, quickly goes into solution andstays in suspension.

ZAMPRO recharges with moistureZAMPRO redistributes under the influence of moisture,e.g. dew. Proof of this was shown in greenhouse trialswith grape plants that were treated with ZAMPRO and theplants were divided into control and plants incubated in aclimate chamber to condensing conditions (100% r.h.) atthe end of the night for 4 h (the plant leaves were wetduring this period). This exposure was repeated for threecycles (=days) and the results compared with the controlplant without moisture exposure. After 3 cycles, theZAMPRO-covered area increased by 50%.
