THE BEST MIRACLE

In Colombia it has become normal to see a

person receive Christ, but I believe that it

is a genuine miracle when more than 2000

people receive Jesus in just three Community & Medical Outreaches this year! All of this has been possible

because of volunteers; people willing to

donate their time and abilities so that, “All

would come to know Him.”

God’s Hand is Evident

When you see a child smile be-

cause of the clothes that he has

been given, for the toys, having

his face painted or the attention

that he has received, we feel a

profound sense of contentment.

Some people express grateful-

ness for our help, but we have

also seen some break into tears

when they are given a meal. Many

people don’t have food in their homes;

living off of their neighbour’s charity.

We have also seen healing come from

our counselor’s prayers & advice. Our

Community & Medical Outreaches are

always a party - a party for the most needy!

A Miraculous Healing

One of the miracles that really impacted us

this year was Rafael’s healing from deafness. He is an older man who has not

been able to hear for many years, but when

our volunteer Miguel prayed for him,

Rafael was healed & left with perfect hear-

ing! He praised God; loudly! Miracles like

this one happen often in our outreaches.

On the Medical Front, the majority of the cases that we care for are

allergies caused by animals or the environment, gastritis and intestinal

problems caused by malnutrition. The latter was Pilar’s problem. She is

a 16 year old mother pregnant with her second child. She was having

intense abdominal pains that seemed to be caused by the pregnancy.

However, when the Doctor asked her questions, he found out that she had

not eaten in two days - she had no food and no money.

Of the 20 poorest areas in Bogota we have already held outreaches in 12,

some of them up to three times with our evangelistic programs. We still

have 8 areas more to go and with your help we will make it!

The Gospel in Schools

Mobile Teams, together with interna-

tional outreach teams has been able to

take the Gospel into dozens of local

schools where there have never been

open doors. God has given us the oppor-

tunity to preach to tens of thousands of

youth in the last 4 years. In our July & August outreaches we

were able to share with more than

11,000 youth in different schools in

and around Bogota.

In every school where we gave a

presentation we left a mark in the stu-

dents as well as the teachers and ad-

ministrators. Several churches were

blessed with a new harvest - because hundreds of youth received Jesus!

Team members presented workshops on drug prevention, sexual purity

and communion with God. They shared their testimonies as well as

presented dramas that ran the range from comical to dynamic and

confronting. They touched a lot of hearts. Young people received revela-

tion and freedom from God in the dark areas of their lives - that in many

cases had satanic influences.

We have seen God open doors for our teams in Bogota and many towns

and cities in the area.

¡WE NEED A MINISTRY HOME!

Without a doubt we urgently need a “Centre

of Operations,” where we can stage our dif-

ferent ministry activities, have housing for

teams and a warehouse to receive donations

& store equipment.

Shopping malls, local churches, community

centres and others have become our Mobile

offices, but we need a strategic, permanent

place to fully develop the ministry that God

has given us.

Please, help us to pray for this need.

Passion For My City

With the program “Passion For My City,” that Mobile Teams cofounded, a new prayer

initiative has begun in the streets and the

cities and towns where we live. We inter-

cede in unity for our society, for our youth

to embrace the Great Commission and for

us to hear from God in respect to our spiri-

tual & social responsibility. We pray against

the principalities and powers of the enemy.

With groups of Pastors, Leaders, Intercessors and Believers, we have al-

ready held several prayer vigils in strategic points around Bogota - with

some 100 churches involved!

God is raising up a new movement of

prayer, unity and participation in different

areas of church leadership.

We have begun to see a change in attitude

and a new openness in the City’s leader-

ship. We are now preparing for our 7th prayer vigil in Bogota and

several other towns where they have adopted the idea.

Celebrate Christmas 2013

One of the programs that we hold every

year is “Celebrate Christmas,” where we

give Christmas presents to hundreds of

poor children and their families. At the

same time we hand out gifts, we also

present the Gospel to people that live in

some of the most vulnerable conditions

in Colombia.

Our challenge this year is to touch the

hearts of more than 2500 children

nationwide with Christmas Presents. Help us to pray that God would open

doors in many places for us to bless Co-

lombia’s children. If you can help us

provide presents for the children, it

would be very welcome.

Gratefully, Carlos & Elsy Lamprea, YWAM Mobile Teams
