A total of 3,888 trap nights and trap success for live traps was 5.17%, we can captured 147 individuals from 7 species (6 genera, 3 families and 2 orders). The Shannon-Wiener indices (H') in the Mixed Deciduous Forest, Salakphra Wildlife Sanctuary in 1 whole year equaled 1.43, were highest in August (H’ = 1.42) and lowest in February (H’ = 0.50). We calculated a Relative Abundance (RA) of small mammals in study area and classified to 5 categories: very common, common, moderate common, uncommon, rare and very rare. Maxomys surifer was very common species and widely distributed in this area. The finding can be used to as information about small mammals shedding light of important roles in ecological system and environmental management. Furthermore, we can used this knowledge for manage species or population of small mammals in the Mixed Deciduous Forest.
