There are several of the designs in this collection that can be inserted into the center of the candle wrap to make it more decorative. You can either use your software program to bring the designs together or bring the parts together in your embroidery machine.
Supplies: • OESD Badgemaster or AquaMesh Stabilizer• 505 Temporary Spray Adhesive• Isacord Polyester Embroidery Thread• Yenmet Metallic Thread• two pieces of fabric (one for the outside and one for the inside of the
candle wrap) each at least 6 x 9 inches
1. Bringing the designs together in Explorations software. Open yourExplorations software and create a new project.
2. Locate the Candle Wrap design and drag it onto your work space.
3. Locate the design you would like to use with your candlewrap and drag it ontothe work surface. Click Edit and Select All. Click and drag the second designinto the center of the first design.
4. Click the Connect Mode to get the design to your embroidery machine.
At the Machine:
1. Hoop a piece of OESD Badgemaster stabilizer or OESD AquaMeshstabilizer. Stitch the first color. This is the placement line.
2. There are two different ways to do the next step in this project each outlinedbelow:
Trim in Place: On the wrong side, lightly spray each 6” X 9” rectangle of fabric with 505 Temporary Spray Adhesive. Place each piece of fabric over the stitch line. The top piece should be right side up and the other pieces, which are placed on the bottom, should also be facing right sides out.
Stitch the next color. When the machine stops, remove the hoop from the machine (DO NOT remove the fabric from the hoop) and carefully trim the excess fabric closely around the shape.
Place the hoop back on the machine. Use matching bobbin thread and continue to stitch the design.
Using a Pattern: Using the pattern provided cut out the candle wrap. On the wrong side, lightly spray the fabric with 505 Temporary Spray Adhesive. Place the cut out shape on the stabilizer inside the stitched shape. Use matching bobbin thread and continue to stitch the design

Supplies: • OESD Badgemaster or Aqua Mesh Stabilizer• 505 Temporary Spray Adhesive• Isacord Polyester Embroidery Thread• Yenmet Metallic Thread• scraps of red, green or ivory cotton/satin fabric• Optional: Explorations Software
1. Bringing the designs together in Explorations software. Open your Explorationssoftware and create a new project.
2. Locate the coaster design and drag it onto your work space.
3. Locate the second design you would like to have in the center of your coaster anddrag it onto the work space. Click Edit and Select all. Click Align and Centers tocenter the second design with the first.
4. Send the completed design to your embroidery machine for stitching.
At the embroidery machine:
1. Hoop a piece of OESD Badgemaster stabilizer or OESD Aqua Mesh stabilizer.Stitch the first color. This is the placement line.

Trim in Place: On the wrong side, lightly spray 2―6” X 6” squares of fabric with 505 Temporary Spray Adhesive. Place one square on the top of the stitched circle with right side up.
Place the second square on the bottom of the stabilizer under the hoop with the wrong side of the fabric against the stabilizer. Stitch the next color. When the machine stops, remove the hoop from the machine (DO NOT remove the stabilizer from the hoop) and carefully trim the excess fabric around the circle on the top and the bottom.
Place the hoop back on the machine. Use matching bobbin thread and continue to stitch the design.
Using a Pattern: Using the pattern provided cut out two circles. On the wrong side of the circles, lightly spray with 505 Temporary Spray Adhesive. Place 1 circle on top of the stabilizer inside the stitched circle. Place the second circle under the hoop with the wrong side of the fabric against the stabilizer. Use matching bobbin thread and continue to stitch the design.
ApronPurchase a plain apron or make one from a pattern of your choice.Fold the top of the apron in half and mark the fold for the verticalcenter.Measure down 3½” from the top and mark the horizontal center.Where these lines intersect will be the center of the embroidery.Adhere two layers of OESD Ultra Clean & Tear Stabilizer togetherwith 505 Temporary Spray Adhesive™.Spray the top of the stabilizer and adhere to the wrong side of theapron.Hoop all three layers and place on the machine.Embroider the design of your choice, the sample used #HE861-48from Collection 2.Remove the stabilizer one layer at a time.Decorate the tie with a decorative stitch on the sewing machine.
Add a piece of trim on the top hem of the apron.
Cut a piece of fabric 2” by the width of the apron plus 1”.If the apron is 8” wide the piece will be 2” by 9”.Fold a ½” hem to the wrong side on the two short ends.Fold the trim in half lengthwise and press.This forms a centerline.Fold and press the long sides to the centerline, fold in half againto create the trim.Pin the trim in place and top stitch using the same decorativestitch as the ties.
