The Bible gives us instructions on how to avoid hurting other peo- ple with our words. “Intelligent people think before they speak; what they say is then more persuasive.” (Proverbs 16:23, GNB). “A wise, ma- ture person is known for his understanding. The more pleasant his words, the more persuasive he is.” (Proverbs 16:21, GNB). “ A word of encouragement does wonders!” (Proverbs 12:25 TLB). “COURAGEOUS” Sunday, April 29, we will have a community dinner in the MPR followed by our 6 pm service. We will be presenting the movie “Courageous,” and encourage all Life Groups and members to invite members of our community, other family members and co-workers. We will be serving a complimentary spaghetti dinner for our members and guests beginning at 4:30 in the MPR. Following a short devotional at 6, we will show the movie in the auditorium.
