youth street
Youth Street is a community outreach aimed to engage youth (from ages 7-17) through safe and exciting activities for the purpose of positive mentorship and healthy growth.
Youth Street’s purpose is to give youth a positive and healthy space to discover their identity and talents leading to growth and empowerment.
Youth Street is a community where youth know they are loved and accepted upon their arrival.
Youth Street
Originally the concept of Youth With A Mission (YWAM) leaders in Newcastle-Australia, Youth Street began in 2001. There have been thousands of youth impacted by this thriving program. Individual lives, families and communities have been remarkably transformed in the cities where Youth Street is currently held.
Youth Street San Jose was established in August 2013 as a program of YWAM Ember Ink. Currently located in the Washington/Guadalupe/Tamien Neighborhood in San Jose, Youth Street is continuing to grow at a rapid rate.

In our current relationships, we’ve learned that a large majority of children are being raised by parents who are working multiple jobs to keep their families afloat. Some are being raised by a single parent, by a grandparent or a great-grandparent. Absent parents are often due to gang involvement, divorce or incarceration.

Having identified that the transformation of individuals results in the transformation of families, Youth Street is centered on the development of young people, using our resources to serve, invest, disciple and equip. We’re aware that this succession will inevitably eventuate in the transformation of communities.
With your partnership, we’ll not only see young lives impacted but their schools, families and relational circles transformed in a positive way.
TRANSFORMATION: The neighborhood is impacted longterm through working with local families. It flows to the outer community as we empower individuals to make positive life choices.

DISCIPLESHIP: Direct investment into the youth/student/individual helps equip them to identify who they are and how to set their lives up for success.
RELATIONSHIP: Extending the relationships beyond the individual, to the families, creates a wholistic engagement as it is the next most immediate extension to the individual.
