Drumbeat• Place-based activities and outreach across Moonee Valley,

including Flemington, Ascot Vale and Avondale Heights

Young people in Moonee Valley• Young people make up 16.5 percent of Moonee Valley’s

population – nearly 19,000 young people• Data published recently by the State Government shows some

of the key issues for young people (aged 10-17 years):• 20 percent reported very high levels of psychological stress

(higher than Victorian average of 13 percent)• 60 percent reported that they had a trusted adult in their life

(lower than Victorian average of 70 percent)• 73 percent reported that they were satisfied with the quality

of their life (lower than Victorian average of 77 percent)
