involved in the agriculture industry and I commend them for this significant accomplishment.” The 2013 crop is 40 per cent above 2012 produc-tion and 48 per cent above the 10 year average.Saskatchewan’s canola crop is estimated to be the largest on record at 8.9 million tonnes, an increase of 37.5 per cent over 2012. Production levels for wheat, canola, peas, lentils, chickpeas, oats and flax are all
estimated to be above the 10 year average.“There are many variables that go into producing a successful crop with weather being one of the most important,” Stewart said. “However, the innovation of our producers and the research capacity in Sas-katchewan will ensure our province will continue to be a world leader in agriculture production.”

17. Set a date with your kitchen Based on what I have applied in my practice, when it comes to weight loss we need to devote 80% of our efforts to nutrition and 20% to exercise. One way to do this is to schedule time and make a date with your supermarket and kitchen. Restaurant dishes are outside of your control, and the fact is, most times, those outrageous portions come loaded with salt and fat. Start cooking at home to better monitor your calorie intake. Schedule a day, like Sunday afternoon, to pre-cook for the week. Plan to roast a whole chicken. Cut up a batch of vegetables—like squash, peppers, eggplant, and sweet potatoes—toss them with a little olive oil and roast them in another pan alongside the chicken. Boil a pot of brown rice. Do all of this simultaneously and it should only take about an hour. Now you have the makings for Monday’s burritos, Tuesday’s stew, Wednesday’s pasta dish, and so on. Each working evening, you should only need about 15 minutes in the kitchen to put it together—less time than you might spend heating up a fat-, salt- and sug-ar-filled frozen pizza!

At 2:10 p.m., five U.S. Navy Avenger torpedo-bombers comprising Flight 19 take off from the Ft. Lauderdale Naval Air Station in Florida on a routine three-hour training mission. Flight 19 was scheduled to take them due east for 120 miles, north for 73 miles, and then back over a final 120-mile leg that would return them to the naval base. They never returned. Two hours after the flight began, the leader of the squadron, who had been flying in the area for more than six months, reported that his compass and back-up compass had failed and that his position was unknown. The other planes experienced similar instrument malfunc-tions. Radio facilities on land were contacted to find the location of the lost squadron, but none were successful. After two more hours of con-fused messages from the fliers, a distorted radio transmission from the squadron leader was heard at 6:20 p.m., apparently calling for his men to prepare to ditch their aircraft simultaneously because of lack of fuel. By this time, several land radar stations finally determined that Flight 19 was somewhere north of the Bahamas and east of the Florida coast, and at 7:27 p.m. a search and rescue Mariner aircraft took off with a 13-man crew. Three minutes later, the Mariner aircraft radioed to its home base that its mission was underway. The Mariner was never heard from again. Later, there was a report from a tanker cruising off the coast of Florida of a visible explosion seen at 7:50 p.m. The disappearance of the 14 men of Flight 19 and the 13 men of the Mariner led to one of the largest air and seas searches to that date, and hundreds of ships and aircraft combed thousands of square miles of the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico, and remote locations within the interior of Florida. No trace of the bodies or aircraft was ever found. Although naval officials maintained that the remains of the six air-craft and 27 men were not found because stormy weather destroyed the evidence, the story of the “Lost Squadron” helped cement the legend of the Bermuda Triangle, an area of the Atlantic Ocean where ships and aircraft are said to disappear without a trace. The Bermuda Triangle is said to stretch from the southern U.S. coast across to Bermuda and down to the Atlantic coast of Cuba and Santo Domingo.

SENIORS UNDER ATTACKTHIS IS HAPPENING
RIGHT HERE IN OUR OWN COUNTRY!
We Must Stop This Immediately !
Have you noticed that stairs are getting steeper . Groceries are heavier. And, everything is farther away. Yesterday I walked to the corner and I was dumbfounded to discover how long our street had become! And, you know, people are less considerate now, especially the young ones. They speak in whis-pers all the time! If you ask them to speak up they just keep repeating themselves, endlessly mouthing the same silent message until they’re red in the face! What do they think I am, a lip reader? I also think they are much younger than I was at the same age. On the other hand, people my own age are so much older than I am. I ran into an old friend the other day and she has aged so much that she didn’t even recognize me. I got to thinking about the poor dear while I was combing my hair
this morning, and in doing so, I glanced at my own reflection well, REALLY NOW - even mirrors are not made the way they used to be! Another thing, everyone drives so fast these days! You’re risking life and limb if you happen to pull onto the freeway in front of them. All I can say is, their brakes must wear out awfully fast, the way I see them screech and swerve in my rear view mirror. Clothing manufacturers are less civilized these days. Why else would they suddenly start label-ing a size 32 waisted pant as 40? Do they think no one notices? The people who make bathroom scales are pulling the same prank. Do they think I actually ‘believe’ the number I see on that dial? HA! I would never let myself weigh that much! Just who do these people think they’re fooling? I’d like to call up someone in au-thority to report what’s going on -- but the telephone company is in on the conspiracy too: they’ve printed the phone books in such small type that no one could ever find a num-ber in there!
All I can do is pass along this warn-
ing:WE ARE UNDER ATTACK!
Unless something drastic happens, pretty soon everyone will have to
suffer these awful indignities.
PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO EVERYONE
YOU KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
SO WE CAN GET THISCONSPIRACY STOPPED!
PS: I am writing this to you in a larger font size, because something has happened to my computer’s fonts - they are smaller than they once were. Thank you.
