What’s your dog’s life stage?

Puppy

STARTS: At birth

ENDS: 6-9 months of age, the end of rapid growth

Young adult

STARTS: 6-9 months of age

ENDS: 3 to 4 years of age, the completion of physical and social maturity

Mature adult

STARTS: 3-4 years of age

ENDS: Beginning of the last 25% of the estimated lifespan, which is breed and size-dependent

Senior

STARTS: The last 25% of the estimated lifespan

ENDS: At the end of life
