• Clean and disinfect pens/units between every batch

• Pen pigs in homogeneous batches

• Avoid mixing pigs from different batches

• Adjust the temperature by age

• Check and maintain the ventilation system

• Choose feed mix by age

• Daily control of feed quality and appetite

• Daily observation af weak and sick pigs

• Avoid too high stocking density

• Weekly regulation of feed for finishing pigs

• Weigh pigs on regular basis

• Remember no feeding 12 hours before delivery
