YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED TO:

Pine-Richland High School’s 2017 Prom

Saturday, May 13th

Prom – 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm David L. Lawrence Convention Center

Cost: The cost of a Prom ticket is $100.00 per student. The cost includes dinner, dancing, and a

wide variety of entertainment including photo booths, plus your transportation to and from the

event.

Transportation: All students will be riding a charter bus to and from the event. Students will

arrive at the High School at their assigned times to board the bus. The buses will bring them back

to the High School around 12:00 AM (midnight). Please plan accordingly for transportation to

and from the High School.

Ticket Sales: Tickets for Prom will be sold Tuesday, April 4 through Friday, April 7 during

all lunch periods. Checks for all tickets are to be made out to: Pine-Richland High School

Prom.

Only tickets purchased during the week of April 4-7 will be guaranteed a seat on the

charter buses. Any tickets purchased after April 7 are not guaranteed a seat on a charter

bus and will have to ride a school bus to Prom.

***Tickets are non-refundable!***

On Tuesday, April 4, only seniors (and their date) will be allowed to purchase tickets. At this time only

senior tables (a table where 5 of the students are seniors) may be reserved. If you are a senior and in a

primarily junior group, you may purchase your ticket and reserve only your seat and your date’s seat at a

table.

Starting Wednesday, April 5, any junior or senior will be able to purchase a ticket and select their table

seating.

If you are planning on bringing a non-PRHS student to prom, they must be under the age of 21 on May

13, 2017.

***Tickets will not be sold unless all of the appropriate forms are filled out, signed and include

payment in full.***

If you do NOT purchase your ticket by Friday, April 7, the cost of a ticket will increase to $110 per

student. The last date to purchase a ticket is April 12, 2017.

Professional pictures are not included in the ticket price. Bring completed order forms and money to

prom.

2017 Prom RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. A prom consent form must be completed for every prom attendee. The form must be turned

in at the time of ticket purchase. Extra forms are available online, outside room 416 or at the

ticket sales table during all lunch periods.

2. If you are escorting a date who does not attend Pine-Richland High School, he/she and his/her

parents must complete a “Guest Consent Form”. These forms are available online, outside of

Room 416 or at the ticket sales table during all lunches. Any date to prom must be under the

age of 21 on the date of prom (May 13, 2017).

3. Tickets will be on sale Tuesday, April 4 through Friday, April 7. Seating selections will be

made at this time. Payments for Prom tickets are due at this time. One check may be made for

multiple tickets. Checks for all tickets are to be made to: Pine-Richland High School Prom.

Tickets not purchased by Friday, April 7 will increase in price to $110 per person. The last

date to purchase a ticket is April 12, 2017. Tickets are non-refundable.

4. If you would like to have pictures taken professionally at the school, bring a completed form

and check to Prom Walk. Forms are available online, outside room 416 or during ticket sales.

These forms should NOT be turned in when prom tickets are purchased.

5. Prom attendees must arrive to Pine-Richland High School by their designated time to catch

their bus. No students are permitted to drive to Prom. A phone call will be made to the

parent/guardian of any student who has not arrived by bus departing time.

6. Prom is a formal affair and a very special evening for everyone. Formal attire is required

throughout the evening. Guests may not change clothes or disrobe at any time during the Prom.

SHOES MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES! BRING FLIP FLOPS IF NECESSARY! This

is a Convention Center Regulation.

7. The PRSD Discipline Code is in effect for these events. The Code addresses consequences for

possession, use, or distribution of tobacco, drugs or alcohol. Please note that the PRSD policy

requires that the police, in this case the Pittsburgh Police, are called for violations of some rules

covered by the Discipline Code.

8. Any special needs (medical, dietary, etc) should be brought to the attention of Jessica

Holmgren, prom coordinator. You may drop off a note in room 416 at the high school, at the

high school office, or emailed to her. Medical needs must be in written form.

9. If you need to leave Prom early for any reason, you must be signed out by a parent.

Tickets are on Sale during Prom Ticket Sales and through April 28.

Bus Departure and Return:

You will be assigned a time to arrive at the school to board the buses.

This time will also include your photographer time. If you wish to get professional photos taken, you

must arrive to the photographer by your assigned time.

Departure Time assigned to you is the time your bus will be leaving campus. If you are not on the bus by

your assigned departure time the bus will leave without you. Your parents will be responsible for getting

you down to the Convention Center.

Buses will return to the High School at approximately 12-midnight.
