Parents are responsible for their children’s actions. Children are to be accompanied by an adult to comfort stations and the pool. All children under 18 are to be at their site during quiet hours.
For the enjoyment of all our guests, smoking is not permitted inside any building on the Camp-Resort property or in any pool area.
Campfires are part of the camping experience and are allowed in the fire rings or in a charcoal grill only. They must be properly extinguished when not attended and must be of reasonable size so as not to endanger anyone or anything. We follow the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (“DNR”) recommendations for firewood and ask that you do not bring firewood onto our property. At the request of the DNR, help us control the spread of the emerald ash borer. You are the best weapon we have against this exotic beetle that has already killed 25 million ash trees in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. For your convenience, the Ranger Station store has wood bundles available for purchase.
Proper swim attire in the pool area is required. Cut offs and street clothes are not acceptable. Parents need to accompany children14 years old or younger while in the pool area. There are no lifeguards on duty. Children must be in swim diapers if not trained.
Safe, Slow driving is a must! The speed limit is 5.5 miles per hour! Children are at play throughout the park. Please remember, pedestrians and bicycles have the right of way!
To ensure that each guest has a quality camping experience, quiet hours are enforced each night from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. During this time, please keep voices and other noises to a minimum and turn off any amplified sound. Please ensure that noise, human or otherwise, cannot be heard beyond your site boundary. At all times, please be mindful of other guests and refrain from making excessive noise. Any loud noise, which in the opinion of Camp-Resort Management could disturb others, will not be tolerated and will be handled in the appropriate fashion.
In addition, all children under 18 must be at their site after 10:00 pm. These requirements apply equally to all guests and their invitees. In the event the Camp-Resort has a scheduled activity that extends past 10:00 pm, affected guests will be asked to be at their campsite no later than 15 minutes after the conclusion of the scheduled activity.
No fireworks, firearms or weapons of any kind permitted on Camp-Resort property.
In order to provide an appealing atmosphere for all guests, space has been provided at each site for one vehicle, one watercraft/trailer, and a RV. All parking at the campsite is restricted to the site’s parking pad. Overflow parking for additional vehicles is available in designated areas. For information regarding these areas, please inquire at the Ranger Station office. All guests will be required to display a parking pass at all times while in the park.
Clotheslines are not permitted at your campsite. Washers and dryers are provided for your convenience in the Ranger Station complex.
Bikes and skateboards should be put away at dusk. Camp-Resort Management does not permit rollerblades, skateboards, bicycles or scooters of any kind on sidewalks or inside buildings. Only ADA compliant scooters are permitted in these areas for our special needs guests. Dirt bike and ATV riding is prohibited on Camp-Resort property.
The common areas at Jellystone Park are intended for the use and enjoyment of every guest. No guest will be excluded from any common area in the park unless the area has been reserved for a specific group or purpose with the approval of park management. Reservation requests may be granted or withheld in management’s sole discretion and must be submitted to management at least 48 hours in advance of the reservation start time.
Pets are allowed in the Camp-Resort. For your convenience, the Camp-Resort does have a fenced Dog Park area. The pet owner is responsible for cleaning up after the pet and keeping the pet under control (leashed and refrained from excessive barking) throughout the entire Camp-Resort. If you are using an electric fence barrier at your site, it must be clearly posted. If your pet is leashed, the leash is not permitted to extend beyond your site boundaries. Due to health regulations, pets are not allowed in the rental units, pool area, comfort stations or Ranger Station. We ask that there be no more than 2 pets per site. Exceptions to this request are at the discretion of the Camp-Resort Management.
Please help keep our park beautiful, do not litter (including cigarette butts) or harm/destroy any trees. Please place all garbage in dumpsters located throughout the Camp-Resort. See site map for actual locations.
Alcoholic beverages are allowed in moderation at your campsite. Beer and wine are permitted off of your campsite but must be in an approved container (ie: plastic or aluminum, no glass containers off site)
Dumping of grey water or sewerage on the grounds is in violation of State Law.
As a matter of courtesy, our guests are to exercise good sense and respect for others. Please remember that we enforce our rules to protect our guests and our park. Management reserves the right to evict, at our discretion and without refund, any person whose conduct is objectionable or violates our Camp-Resort’s.
