Module - FLEXIBILITY THROUGH RELEASE – 50 hours

- Learn to release trension from lower back, hips, neck, shoulders, chest and the back of the legs, leaving you feeling more open and flexible.

- Learn about the Deep Core Lines of the fascia system. Learn to open op areas that are blocked, learn to gain back your strength through awareness of the core.

- Pracitce focusing on the breath-mind connection through specific breathing techniques. - Practice releasing diaphragmatic tension to enable deep and full breathing. - Learn about the Lung and Heart Meridian Lines through Yin and Hatha Yoga. - Learn about the Immune and Cardiovascular System. - Learn how to release the PSOAS muscle on yourself and on others. - Practice Yoga Nidra and Somatic releases.

After completing this Module, you will: - feel more freedom and less tension in the lower back, hips, neck, shoulders, chest and the back of the legs - be given sequences and practice Yin & Hatha Yoga variations and pranayama for calmness and focus. - have a deeper understanding of how, what and why your breath, Immune system and Cardiovascular

system are so important and how to strengthen them naturally. - have received and have learned how to give PSOAS Release work. - have studied and be able to incorporate a combination of Hatha and Yin Yoga techniques that release the

body and can be used in many life situations at home, work or in the studio. - have learned to see common posture patterns that cause pain and see common breathing patterns that

can limit us.

Module - RELEASE – 50 hours

- Practice Yin and Hatha Yoga focussing on ‘releasing’ the body. - Learn to work with Self Myofascia Release (SMR). - Learn ‘Roll & Release Yoga’ and other fascia unwinding techniques. - Learn about emotions and where they are stored in the body/fascia. - Learn about ‘bands of tension’ in the human body and how they can affect us. - Learn about acupressure point in the body, practice on your own body and others. - Learn how to release tension in the diaphragm, resulting in more complete breathing. - Practice Pranayama (breathwork) and meditation to calm the nervous system. - Learn a complete routine for a home practice and/or bring these techniques to any class setting. - Learn how to release the PSOAS muscle through many different release techniques. - Learn to analyse breath and posture in yourself and others.

After completing this Module, you will: - be able to teach and develop your own sequences of Roll & Release, Yin and Hatha Yoga for

release / Pranayama for calmness. - be able to integrate these new modalities with confidence in your own practice and/or classes you teach;

you can actually use it in many different life situations. - have a deeper understanding of the breath system and why it so important. - have gained a better understanding of meditation. - learn to see common posture patterns that can result in pain. - be able to give and receive PSOAS muscle release work.

Module - FOUNDATIONS – 50 hours

- Learn about anatomy in a whole new way that is exciting and easy to learn as you ‘feel’ your way through your body.

- We will do an extensive study of the body: What is fascia? How does it work? Where are the fascia lines? What are the many functions of fascia? Where are emotions stored and why? What does mental and physical tension do to the body and how does this effect movement, posture and vitality? How can releasing the fascia affect our lives and of those around us?

After completing this Module, you will: - have gained anatomic knowledge from the fascia perspective; this will help you in day to day life, in

practicing yoga or sports and in helping others. - will be able to take the contents of this module into practice, which will result in a more deep awareness

of your body and your ‘holding patterns’. - feel an increased flexibility and awareness in movement. - be more aware of your breath, which can help in increasing energy and focus. - be able to use techniques that can help you to heal faster from injuries, overall lack of vitality or even

sickness.

Module - BREATHE – 50 hours

- Learn and practice Roll & Release Yoga for releasing the breath system. - Learn about and practice Pranayama (breath work), Mudra (hand gestures) and Meditation. - Learn active release techniques that help the body and mind to disarm and calm from an overcharged

state. - Learn and practice ‘core work’ for release and strengthening. - Practice partner yoga and yoga at the wall to elicit release. - Learn Yin & Hatha Yoga Asana (postures) for opening up the breath system. - PSOAS muscle release and strengthening through Hatha and Restorative Yoga, combined with breath

work. - Practice mindfulness through breath-initiated movements. - Learn asana (posture) alignment, by letting the breath ‘shape’ the pose. - Introduction into Transformational Breathworkâ.

After completing this Module, you will: - understand Yin, Hatha and Roll & Release Yoga for developing a home practice and/or for teaching by

focusing on the breath system. - be able to develop sequences for classes or home practice that will help you (and others) to learn to

breathe better. - feel more open in areas that were tense, stronger in places that could use more strength and less tension

throughout your body. - be able to develop a partner yoga and wall yoga sequence for connection and release. - have an understanding of how, what and why the breath is so important. - be able to give and receive PSOAS muscle release work. - have learned different types of meditation that you can implement into your daily lives and class settings.

Who should attend?

• students of Yoga or any other movement discipline (dance, sports, etc.) • Yoga teachers and teachers of any other movement discipline to continue development in movement arts and yoga. • Student of LIFE with an interest in tension release and the power of relaxation

What’s included? • This immersion / teacher training works with modules, feel free to do one or all of them, there is no particular order for the modules. • You will receive a manual for each module. • If you are interested to teach, there will be plenty of opportunity to practice teaching in a safe setting. • If you are not interested to teach, you just practice, no obligations whatsoever. • You will receive a diploma from the Art of Release Yoga Continuing Education system through Yoga Alliance. • Your minds, bodies and breath system will change in a positive way!
