Easier said than done.Follow “this too shall pass” maxim. Try acting – If you can’t make it, fake it. Think of advantages of retaining negativity. None exist!
3
Maintain a positive attitudeM
Others are trying too. Learn from them. Talk to them. Pick up their turnaround stories. Share yours. Blend it. Positive company builds on you. Thrive together.
Observe motivators aroundO
A lot could be the passable rehash that you receive. Some could indeed be meaningful. Make efforts to dig them out. Be authentic. Write your own stuff. Forward!

Read more. This will expand your mental horizon and see things from different perspectives. Listening and seeing videos on youtube, TED etc. are equally good. Learn and share more with people around. They may do that too.

Invigorate learningI
Jerking tears in front of soap operas is OK. Rest, its of no use. Declare war on negativity. Keep negative people too at bay. Take over the challenge of converting them. Why get their infection?
Vanquish negative thoughtsV
People have limitations. So do you. What’s the point in pointing that out consistently. Find reasons to appreciate people. See the sparkle in their eyes. They start doing the same with you. Enjoy the positivity opera like a master.

Keep a small note book aside or use your smart phone. Make notes of the time and reasons for feeling great or low. Identify the trend. Account for the ‘pull down factors’. Think of improvement ideas. Seek help if you need from someone reliable and concerned.
Track yourself
T
Take good care of your health – physical and emotional. You will feel good and look good. Taking recourse to spiritual route is also useful. Choose what suits you. A smarter waistline and alert plus active mind will keep you ahead and happy.
Nurture your body and mind
N
Learn from the players on the field. A high-five or a pat is more than sufficient to celebrate. Enjoy this togetherness. Do find reasons to celebrate otherwise too. Sharing the home food with others can do the trick.
Invest time in celebrationsI
Be a willing and active person around to help whenever and wherever needed. Empathize well. Ensure that people do not become too dependent on you. Avoid being an agony uncle or agony aunt.
Offer help to othersO
