TASK:

CREATE A NEW PAGE ON WEEBLY TITLED ‘UNIT 4’

ADD TITLE ‘FLAWS & PERFECTION’

ADD 1 PARAGRAPH DEFINING THE MEANING OF THE TWO WORDS

ADD A MIND MAP ON ‘FLAWS’ USING WORDS AND IMAGESADD A MIND MAP ON ‘PERFECTION’ USING WORDS AND IMAGES

WRITE A 100 WORD INTRODUCTION ON WHAT THEME WITHIN THE TOPIC YOU WANT TO EXPLORE AND WHY. MENTION A MINIMUM OF 3 ARTISTS YOU INTEND TO LOOK AT.

E.G. Within the theme of ‘Flaws’ I will explore ‘crack’. I am interested in documenting the physical cracks within objects and symbolic ‘cracks’ within people . Are these cracks always considered to be flaws ? Are these flaws genuine or can they change depending on culture and stereotype. I will explore the work of photographers Jon Sherman and Alison Brady investigating their images to inspire my own work. Through the use of a digital camera and editing techniques I hope to discover how cracks are defined and how they can be made beautiful through photographic art.
