Introduction:
In this document I would like to discuss the Year Plan I wish to take
the Local Committee forward with in the year 2011. The document
will be divided into sections as follows:

Throughout the document I will be putting forward my views on how I
believe the LC will function in the best possible manner. My plans are
based and influenced by the following factors:

Past Performances & Mistakes
Potential Markets in and Around IIT Kharagpur
Few comments I would like to make in advance:
Don’t judge the year plan for a Department by the number of
pages but by the Processes involved & Innovations.
Some Points which are common to many departments are
written only in One Department (e.g. Trainee Serving Issues,
Leadership Issues, Events)
I plan to have LCP Elections in the last week of November to
ensure proper Transition and matching with the National Cycle

Kharagpur during summers.
Exploiting Jamshedpur/Ranchi/BIT Mesra as Potential OGX
Markets
OGX Expansion to IIT Guwahati, ISM Dhanbad, Bhagalpur
Partnership with Schools/ Private Colleges in Jamshedpur,
Ranchi, Bhagalpur to Send Students on Exchanges (They Pay
the TN Recon Fee of the Country)

IR Campaigns with countries based on DT OGX where use our
Partnership to ensure the country accommodates all our
interns in 1 Project.
AIESEC eXPerience UPGRADE Program for IIT Kharagpur
Students
FT going Students not under any program live an AIESEC
experience in their host country.
Program Fee 6000 /-
We use this Fee to pay the Hosting LC the recon fee of
their DT TN Raising
They Raise DT TN(2 months duration) on the name of the
Organization the student is visiting
We raise our EP and get it matched to the DT TN in the
country.
Student gets to get Airport Pickup, interaction with
AIESECers and involvement in AIESEC activities in the
Host country.
We get our OGX ReCon Fee from the Program and
depending on the Recon Fee of the Host country , some
profit as well
BENEFITS: Exponential Growth in OGX Numbers and LC
Finances, Bigger AIESEC Brand, Unique Product
Upgrade.
Utilizing the power of Huge FT pool in KGP (more than 200
people go every year)
AIESEC Seminars on Global Youth Leadership, Cultural
Exchange in Schools along with Global Village to gain maximum
OGX market outreach in Private Schools of Jamshedpur,
Ranchi, Bhagalpur
Very Good communications about all the details, intricacies
and possibilities involved in Short Term TT/MT to all

ensure Maximum People are satisfied with the Program
Competitions to send people on DT Internships with 0 raising
fee in Summers (Potential Market: 1st years)
OGX Raising through Virtual Platforms and proper Delivery of

VISA Issues to be properly sorted out in advance to prevent
Match Breaks
EP Induction Seminar
Teach them how to use the system
AIESEC way, Jives, Roll Calls and what they can expect
during the Internship
Using the AIESEC Network for future
Involving 1st years in some projects of AIESEC to see if
they make good future members.
