YEAR 4 KOREAN Language Learning From Home: Week 9 - 11 This timetable outlines the teaching and learning program for the remainder of Term 1 for Korean language class. Students in year 4 have been learning Korean from the beginning of week 3 this term. This term’s topic is fruits and vegetables at the market. They have been revising numbers, colours, names of fruits and vegetables. They have been learning to express likes and dislikes, describing words to describe the taste of fruits and vegetables. They have also been learning the consonants and vowels in Korean because our aim is to read Korean independently by the end of this year. This book pack will continue to revise the vocabulary we have been learning this term. At school, students have 2 hours language lessons per week. When learning from home, students are to complete 2 worksheets each week. They could complete one worksheet on the day they normally would have language class. For example, your child might have language class on Monday and Tuesday so they would complete one worksheet on Monday and another on Tuesday. - Please see the suggested timetable for worksheets to be completed each week. - Page 1 and 2 is where you can find vocabulary that students learnt. Students will refer to this for answers to the worksheets. - At the end of the booklet are worksheets for extensions task if the student wishes to complete. - Other activities are available for parents to extend students’ learning.
