• Rotary matters

o Club Roster for RY 2018/19 and incoming Secretary: Asstated in the club bylaws, President will for anominating committee to form the Board for 2018-19.

o Request for Sponsorship for 10 thDistrict Conference. RCYala will be a co-host with contribution of Rs. 20,000.

o Club semi-annual and other requested reports:President requested Committee Chairsto provide semi-annual reports that need to be submitted to the Districtsoon.

o Birthing Centre Support: Project Coordinator Rtn.Kiran NShrestha informed that the agreement to support thebirthing centre atGotikhelSwasthyoChowkihas beensigned. President handed over a cheque of Rs15,000 toMr. BinorSahani to start the construction of plancentapit.

o The club has received information that NAH hastransferred Rs. 1,500,000 as the 3rd and final paymentforShree Kshamawati School reconstruction. A ninauguration event will be organized in consultationwith NAH.

o 2ndNational Conference on Literacy and WASH is re-scheduled for 2-3 Feb, President requested to Rotariansfor their participation.

o Registration for District Conference. So far only 5members have registered. More are expected to registerin the coming days. Group booking for hotel can bedone if interested members can inform the Presidentlatest by 12 Jan.

o Rtn. Kiran Shrestha informed that Daya Ram Maharjanand his differently abled children from DisabledAssociation of Bungamatiare ready to perform at theDistrict Conference in Birgunj. Free accommodation forthe team can be arranged at a local school. RC Yalacansponser the transportation cost.

o RC Yala will vote for Rtn. Kamal Sanghve for RI DirectorElection Zone 6A.

o Club Assembly date will be fixed after consultingCommittee Chairs (action secretary)

o Ms.Haruna Watanabe from Japan gave a brief talk onnutrition in India. She described her Masters Researchwork in nutrition, a serious problem in Nepal, andexpressed her interest to work on the topic incollaboration with the club.
