Use your knowledge of Great White Sharks to create an acrostic poem. See the link for anoverview of how to write an acrostic poem.

Writing - Planning and DraftYou are going to plan a story about the picture below.Think about:

● What is the boy doing?● Where is he sitting?● Is he smiling about something he has read in the book?● Has he found a way to travel to the moon?

Plan your ideas on the ‘Story Mapping Boxes’ sheet. Use your ideas to write a first draft on thelined paper. Try to make sure you use descriptive words and that your ideas flow.

You can be as creative as you want!(Use the lined paper at the back of the booklet)SpellingComplete the Spelling sheets for the ‘f’ alternative sort.Write five sentences using as many of the words as you can. Remember to make them asexciting as possible.

Standing Pretzel: Stand up and twist your body in all possible directions. See if someone athome can copy your shape.

MathleticsLog in to Mathletics and complete the tasks that have been assigned to you. If you have timeyou could also go on to the ‘Live’ section.

In the story ‘Benny Bungarras Big Bush Clean Up’, Olive Python had a plastic bottle stuckover her head. Later in the story, she re-used the plastic bottle to make a pot, a hangingmobile and a paintbrush holder. Find something at home or in your garden that isrecyclable. For example, empty milk cartons or egg cartons. Think about 4 ways you couldre-use the item. Draw and label them on the sheet in the booklet.
