Yamaha MT15 V2.0: Features and Specification The Yamaha MT-15 Version 2.0 boasts several notable features. Its LCD instrument cluster and Bluetooth connectivity, available through the Yamaha Y-Connect smartphone app, offer a range of useful features including call, e-mail, and SMS alerts, service reminders, last parked location, mileage, malfunction alerts, and post-ride stats. However, it's worth noting that turn-by-turn navigation is unfortunately absent. The latest update does bring a dual-channel ABS, LED indicators, and a traction control system, all of which enhance the bike's safety features. Other noteworthy features include LED headlight and tail lamp, side stand engine kill function, and slip-assist clutch. The Yamaha MT-15 Version 2.0 retains the same deltabox frame as its predecessor, but the frame is now linked to an aluminium swingarm, replacing the previous box-section unit. The front telescopic fork has also been replaced with a 37mm inverted unit, while the rear comes with a linked monoshock. Braking remains the same as before, with a 282mm front and 220mm rear disc and dual-channel ABS. Under the hood, the Yamaha MT-15 Version 2.0 is powered by the same 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as its predecessor. However, it now features Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology, which ensures a good balance of low-end grunt and top-end drive. The motor produces 18.4PS and 14.1Nm and works alongside a six-speed transmission, along with the slip-and-assist clutch.
