Y4 & 5 Trip to Big Bang Fair in London Years 4 and 5 enjoyed a trip to the Big Bang Fair last week. The Big Bang Fair is an exciting and interactive celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths for young people in the UK and aims at bringing classroom learning to life. It is a combination of exciting theatre shows, interactive workshops and exhibits and careers information from STEM professionals. Year 4 took part in the space exploration workshop and they also had a lot of fun at the STIXX exhibition. They were fascinated by the use of newspapers to build a structure and enjoyed the opportunity to sit on a giant chair made from newspaper. We are hoping that the girls have been sufficiently inspired to use their creativity and innovative skills to construct using some clever Science and Engineering, out of newspaper!
