At Christmas…We will eat, turkey, foie gras, smoked salmon, toast, yule log and oysters (but we don’t like them). It’s a big festive

meal with our family. We have children believe that the Father Christmas goes

down the chimney and leaves presents under the Christmas tree which is nicely decorated on the 24th of

December at midnight. We sing different Christmas songs like « petit papa Noël ».

New Year’s Eve

In France, New Year’s Eve is on the 31st of December. We always wear beautiful clothes. We organize a party with friends or with family. We often eat chestnut, foie gras, smoked salmon, chicken, seafood, toasts and we can drink champagne… We don’t go to bed before wishing everyone a happy new year. For the next year, we make New Year’s resolutions !
