This field indicates if the role is available to all users in the University or just users within Central Administration; some CTR roles may be restricted further to specific departments within Central Administration (see restrictions column)
A high-level description of the role and what it may contain; HRC&S Data indicates it grants access to High-Risk Confidential or Sensitive data

Navigation (if applicable)
This field indicates the high-level navigation the role has access to
Require Security (No, Dept, TL, AM)
This field indicates whether or not row level security is required with the role and what type if so. Dept = department, TL = Time and Labor Group, AM = Absence Management Group
Require Training (Y/N)
This field indicates whether or not training is required before the user can be granted the access; training may be given in a classroom setting or by a specific product group
Require Approval (Y/N)
This field indicates whether or not the role requested requires additional approval. If approval is required, FSS will send the request to the designated approvers. This document is meant to help Authorized Requestors understand the roles available in PeopleSoft & CREW HR as well as help them find the roles appropriate to grant to their users.
-If trying to find out what a role grants access to, find the role in the Role column and look under the navigation section-If trying to find out what roles grant access to a specific navigation, do a find/search on the Navigation column for the menu path to see the available roles-If trying to find out if a role requires security, find the role in the Role column and look under the Require Security column-Review the Restrictions column for any roles that are only available to specific departments-The Role Rule column indicates whether another role will automatically be assigned or taken away if the user is granted the role
