I pavimenti XILO1934 sono disponibili, in-nanzi tutto, con prefiniture ad olio: il metodo

pi coerente in linea con i principi di ecologiae bioedilizia. Il legno continua a respirareperch trattato con olio naturale. Questo tipodi finitura comporta un maggiore impegno perla manutenzione ma si tratta di un vincolo am-piamente compensato dai vantaggi strutturalied estetici, oltre che ecologici, che qualificanola pavimentazione.

Per soddisfare in modo pi ampio le richiestedel mercato, proponiamo anche un tipo di fini-tura a vernice, concepita sempre nellottica delmassimo rispetto ecologico: lintero ciclo di ver-niciatura - dalla mano di fondo alla finitura - al 100% a base dacqua. Oggi tutti i pavimentiin legno che escono dallazienda non con-tengono nulla di nocivo. Questo tipo di ver-nice comporta inoltre un altro grande vantag-gio: riparabile. Il processo di finitura a verniceadottato dallazienda consente di sfruttare le pimoderne nanotecnologie: un metodo che con-siste nellaggiunta di composti nanotecnologicidella chimica inorganica (come silici, silicatied ossidi metallici) alle resine utilizzate per levernici allacqua e che ha leffetto di aumentareenormemente la resistenza della finitura.

Le possibilit di smaltimento vanno assumendosempre pi importanza nel contesto di una pro-duzione ispirata a principi ecologici.I pavimenti XILO1934 sono totalmentebiodegradabili: dallolio alla vernice usati per iltrattamento della superficie fino alle colle utiliz-zate per lassemblaggio del tre strati.

Raw materials come from controlled forestsorplantation wood. Working with wood teachesus to love and respect what Nature laboriouslygives to the planet.

First of all, the XILO1934 floors are availablewith oil pre-finish which is made in complete

accordance with ecological and bio-buildingprinciples. The wood continues to breathebecause it is treated with natural oil. This typeof finish involves regular maintenance, but thisrequirement is compensated by the structural,aesthetical and ecological advantages that char-acterise the floor.

In order to satisfy the market requirements ina better way, we suppl y also a type of lacquerfinish, which, as usual, has been conceived inthe most complete respect for ecology: theentire lacquering cycle, from primer to fin-ish, is 100% water based. Today all the woodfloors that are produced by the companydo not contain anything harmful. This typeof lacquer has also another great advantage: itcan be repaired. The process of the lacquer fin-ish adopted by the company makes it possibleto use the most modern nanotechnologies: amethod that consists in adding nanotechnolo-gical components of inorganic chemistry (suchas silica, silicates and metallic oxides) to the res-ins used for the water based lacquers; it has theeffect to increase the resistance of the finish in aremarkable way.

Disposal is becoming a more and more impor-tant matter within a production which respectsecological principles. XILO1934 floorings arecompletely biodegradable: from the oil tothe lacquer used for the treatment of the surfaceincluding the glues used to produce the threelayers.

Vinylic glues are used in the production of theXilo1934 three la yers. Unlike the other glues, theyare neither harmfulto the staff who work on theproduction cycle, nor originate industrial wastedifficult to dispose of. Furthermore, they do notemit anything harmfuleven after laying.

Il tre strati, per sua stessa natura, aumenta la stabilit del prodotto finito,limitandone i naturali movimenti. Xilo1934 ha smesso di produrre il co-siddetto controbilanciato in essenza proprio perch ha riscontrato alcuniproblemi di deformazione delle plance, e quindi per ottenere il massimodella resistenza meccanica, ha aumentato il pi possibile lanima centraleriducendo al minimo la controbilanciatura ed aggiungendo una micro-bisellatura sui 4 lati. In questo modo, le probabilit di deformazione dellegno diminuiscono notevolmente ed il prodotto risulta idoneo su fondi radianti

The three-layer floor has the intrinsic quality to increase the stability ofthe finished product, limiting its natural a djustments. Xilo1934 no longerproduces its floors counterbalancing with the same wood, because it hasfound some deformation problems, therefore in order to obtain the maxi-mum mechanical resistance, it has increased the internal part, reducingthe counterbalancing to the minimum and adding a micro-bevel on the4 sides. In this way the possible deformations of the wood are reduced ina remarkable way and the product is therefore suitable on heating floors

La normale manutenzione pu essere eseguita con una cera o unprotettivo indicato dallazienda per ravvivare, lucidare e preservare lapavimentazione. Pulire accuratamente il pavimento con un detergenteneutro e lasciare asciugare completamente. Successivamente, applicareun sottile strato di cera o protettivo. Se sporco, risciacquare lo straccio inacqua pulita e strizzarlo per bene. Continuare con lapplicazione, senzainterrompersi. Lasciare asciugare la superficie per circa 30 minuti. Ilpavimento calpestabile gi dopo 20-30 minuti.

For ordinary maintenance you can use a wax or a lacquer care productsuggested by the parquet producer to enliven, polish and preserve thefloor. Wash the floor thoroughly till the surface is completely clean. Thefloor must be absolutely dry before application of Lacquer Care. Applya thin coat of the concentrated Lacquer Care. If dirty, rinse the cloth/mop in clear water and wring it hard. Continue the application. Do notcontinue application of Lacquer Care when the floor has started to dry.Leave the surface to dry for approx. 30 minutes. After 20-30 minutesyou can walk on the floor.

Lavare la pavimentazione con sapone neutro e in ognicaso prodotti leggeri applicati con un panno ben strizzato.Si consiglia di usare meno acqua possibile e di asciugare subito lacquaeventualmente versata sul pavimento.

I pavimenti Xilo1934 trattati ad olio continuano a respirare poich lolio,essendo costituito solo da materiali naturali, puro al 98% e penetraprofondamente nel legno senza chiuderne i pori. Non si forma dunqueuno strato addizionale e il legno mantiene la struttura e la tonalitnaturale; in pi acquista una elevata resistenza allusura.I trattamenti ad olio, rispondono perfettamente alla norma DIN-68861,1, sono infatti idrofughi e resistono alla maggior parte dei liquidi usatia tavola, come ad esempio vino, birra, t, cola, succhi di frutta, latte

ed acqua. Sono inoltre in regola con le norme DIN 53160 ed EN 71,soddisfacendo cos ai requisiti richiesti per i giocattoli per bambini.Questo tipo di trattamento richiede una certa cura nel tempo, perquesto motivo stato perfezionato un programma per la pulizia e lamanutenzione che si compone di poche semplici istruzioni.

Dopo la posaI pavimenti trattati ad olio hanno ricevuto in fabbrica un trattamentomolto resistente e sono pronti per essere usati subito dopo la posa. comunque sempre consigliabile stendere una mano di olio dimanutenzione, dopo la fase di posatura.

The Xilo1934 oil finished floors continue to breathe because oil is 98%pure as it is composed only of natural materials and goes deep into thewood without closing its pores. No additional layer is therefore created,thus the wood keeps its structure and natural hue and becomes morewear resistant.The oil finishings meet the DIN-68861, 1st regulation perfectly. In factthey are water-repellent and resist to most liquids used normally attable, such as wine, beer, tea, coke, fruit juices, milk and water. They

are also in accordance with the DIN 53160 and EN 71 regulations as theymeet the requirements concerning childrens toys. This kind of finishrequires a particular care as time goes by, for this reason a cleaning andmaintenance plan composed of few simple instructions has been drawn.

After the layingThe oil finished floors are given a very resistant treatment in the factoryand they are ready to be used soon after the laying.However, it is always advisable to give a coat of maintenance oil afterthe laying.

di acqua tiepida). In questo caso poi necessario trattare con lolio dimanutenzione.Le macchie particolarmente difficili possono essere rimosse con loSpot Remover, che deve essere spruzzato sulla macchia e lasciato agire.Qualora il legno avesse assorbito lo sporco, potrebbe essere necessariauna leggera carteggiatura della superficie interessata, seguita da unarioliatura della zona con lOlio di Manutenzione.

If the floor is particularly dirty, instead using the soap it is necessary toclean it with the Intensive cleaner (1/8 of Cleaner in 5 litre of lukewarm

water). In this case, an application of maintenance oil is required.Particularly resistant stains can be removed with the spot remover,which must be sprayed on the stains and left there. In case the woodhas absorbed dirt, a light sanding of the area is necessary, followed by anapplication of Maintenance Oil.

consigliabile rimuovere polvere e sporcizia spazzando o aspirandola pavimentazione. Per lavare il pavimento, necessario utilizzare unpanno ben strizzato, usando il Sapone di manutenzione che va diluitoin acqua (1/8 lt di sapone in 5 lt di acqua tiepida) o lOil Refresher.

In questo modo, oltre a pulire il pavimento, si forma una pellicolaprotettiva, aumentando cos la resistenza della superficie e prolungando itempi di manutenzione straordinaria.

We suggest removing dust and dirt, sweeping or vacuum cleaning thefloor. To clean the floor it is necessary to use a well-swrung cloth, usingthe Maintenance soap which has to be diluted with water (1/8 litre ofsoap in 5 litres of lukewarm water) or Oil Refresher. In this way, not

only the floor is being cleaned, but a protective layer is also created, thusthe resistance of the surface is increased and the times of extraordinarymaintenance become longer.

Se il pavimento ha perso la sua lucentezza originaria, lo si dovrebbetrattare con lOlio di Manutenzione. Prima delloliatura il pavimento

deve essere pulito bene con il Pulitore intensivo diluito in acqua.Spruzzare lolio sul pavimento solo dopo che questo completamenteasciutto. Stendere lolio a mano o con la lucidatrice, subito dopoaverlo applicato, ed in ogni caso rimuovere lolio in eccedenza con unpanno asciutto per evitare chiazze pi lucide. Ripetere se necessarioloperazione fino a quando il pavimento non appaia saturo e con unasuperficie opaca e setosa. Il pavimento pronto per luso dopo circa 4-5ore ( a circa 18-20). Dopo 24 ore possibile pulire con il Sapone.

If the floor has lost its original brightness, it should be treated withMaintenance Oil. Before oiling, the floor must be cleaned carefully with

the Intensive cleaner diluited in water. The oil can be sprayed on thefloor only after it has been dried completely.Spread the oil by hand or with the floor polisher, immediately afterapplying it, and in any case remove the oil in excess with a dry cloth inorder to avoid brighter areas. If necesssary, repeat the operation until thefloor appears saturated and with an opaque and silk-like surface. Thefloor can be used after about 4-5 hours (at about 18-20).After 24 hours Soap can be used to clean it.
