My Marriage . . As a woman, I think my marriage is the most important thing to me. In our country, people usually say marriage is like a pair of shoes. Whether it is comfortable or not, only you know. Therefore, when people are planning for their suitable marriage, they have different standards of quality for a good spouse. In my marriage, I think the two most important qualities are love and communication. First of all, I think love is the foundation of a happy marriage, and it's the secret of a long marriage as well. However, love is not only a feeling thing. It's a way of behaving. My husband always shows his love for me with his actions. For example, because he loves me, he was willing to give up his good career in our country to come with me to the U.S. to start a new life. Second, I think that communication is the bridge of a marriage. Good communication can remove conflict and help the relationship get better. Sometimes my friends ask me, "Why do you always get along with your husband so well and know him so well?" To that, I always say, "because he always keeps no secrets from me."
