E-bubble: tilt values are displayed.
GPS
Zenith 35 - Rinex: it is possible to select the Rinex version (2 o 3).
Import & Export
Trimble DC: antenna height and antenna offset are now imported and managed.

XPAD Survey 2.7.400
This document contains a list of all changes, new features, bugs fixed introduced in this last version of
XPAD Survey.
TPS
Zoom80/90 - Action when prism is lost: a new action is available when prism is lost; the TPS can
return to the last position where prism was locked.
Zoom80/90 - Measure prism from remote: if the prism is not locked, then it is locked and then the
measure starts.
Zoom90 – onboard: general improvements.
Zoom80/90 – ATR visibility: it is now possible to set the ATR visibility; three states are available:
normal, low visibility, high reflectivity.
GPS
Zenith 25 – External GPRS: with Zenith 25 it is now possible to use the GPRS of the WinMobile
controller (or in general a controller connected to internet) to connect to the NTRIP server. So it is
not necessary to have a SIM card on the receiver but just have the controller connected to internet.
It works only with Getac PS336 Windows Mobile controller.
Zenith 35 – TAG: general improvements on supporting this GPS receiver.
Survey
Zenith35 TAG - Tilt pole: it is possible to measure hidden points with two single measures with pole
not vertical.
News XPAD Survey - May 2016
Scan surface: a new command allow to scan automatically a defined surface. It is possible to define
the area to stakeout and the grid step. Three scan mode are available: Accurate, Fast and Ultra-fast.
Stakeout
Stakeout surface - Offset: it is possible to define a vertical offset for surface stakeout. So it is
possible to stakeout at fixed distance above/below the design elevation.
Stakeout surface – Store point: it is possible to store new points during surface stakeout.
News XPAD Survey - February 2016
XPAD Survey 2.7.300
This document contains a list of all changes, new features, bugs fixed introduced in this last version of
XPAD Survey.
General
Save settings as Default: it is possible to save the current settings as Default. The new jobs will use
the default settings.
Fixed bugs: fixed some small bugs in different part of the software.
GPS
Zenith35 – sensor calibration: a special procedure allow you to calibrate the Zenith35 internal
sensor.
Zenith35 – tilt value: current tilt value is stored in the GPS measures and can be imported in office
software.
Zenith35 - RTCM3.1: the last firmware of Zenith35 allow to manage RTCM3.1 messages also when
the SIM is placed in the receiver.
Site calibration: it is possible to import and use all the reference points stored in the current job; in
this way the site calibration process can be completed quickly.
GPS Status - Raw data logging: from GPS Status dialog it is possible to start & stop the receiver raw
data logging.
TPS
Topcon GPT series: it is possible to control the Topcon total station GPT series.
Survey
GPS survey: it is possible to get automatically the name of the next point to measure from the
closest points in the database.
News XPAD Survey - February 2016
Stakeout
GPS closest point: the closest point selected is the one closest to the current position and not
closest to the last stakeout point.
GPS raw data logging: it is possible to enable the receiver raw data logging also during stakeout
operations.
Sideslope stakeout: it is possible to switch the current slope value to 3 different states:
o Slope
o Elevation difference
o Horizontal distance
TPS Stakeout – turn to point: it is possible to activate the automatic rotation of the instrument
toward the point to stakeout. The rotation could be 2D (only horizontal angle) or 3D (horizontal &
vertical angle).
CAD
Locate me: Locate me button allow to display the position and the direction of the TPS.

This document contains a list of all changes, new features, bugs fixed introduced in this last version of
XPAD Survey.
TPS
Zoom90 Robotic total station: full support of the new GeoMax Zoom90 Robotic Total station;
XPAD can run on-board or on external field data collector.
Zoom90 GSI output: measure data taken with Zoom90 can be redirected in GSI format to one of
the following ports: lemo port (RS232), Bluetooth, Bluetooth handle. This is useful to interface
Zoom90 with external application for specific purposes.
NavLight Zoom80/90: it is possible to switch on and off the navigation light on Zoom80 and
Zoom90 Robotic total stations.
GPS
Log raw data at 20/10/5Hz: now it is possible to store receiver raw data for post-processing at
additional frequencies: 20hz, 10hz, 5hz.
GDOP value for Zenith25: GDOP value is now calculated and available for Zenith25.
News XPAD Survey - January 2016
Import & Export
Trimble DC – Points: it is possible to import points stored in Trimble DC format.
Trimble DC – Site calibration: it is possible to import site calibration settings stored in Trimble DC
format and have directly on XPAD.

** WARNING **
Because of some changing in custom prism constant is recommended to check the value defined for your
current custom prism constant.
TPS
Custom prism constant: it is possible to define the custom prism constant by entering the absolute
constant or the GeoMax constant. Check your current custom prism constant.
GPS
Radio frequencies: 5 decimals are now managed.
Stakeout
Reference surface: stakeout of objects can use a reference survey to calculate the difference in
elevation.
Road Stakeout
Reference surface: stakeout of road can use a reference survey to calculate the difference in
elevation.
