The present map shows the flood damage grading in the area of Farini (ITALY). The basic topographic features are derived from public datasets, refined by means of visual interpretation of pre-event ESRI World Imagery. Thematic layers, assessing the delineation of the event and its grading, have been derived from post- event aerial imagery. All images have been radiometrically enhanced. The estimated geometric accuracy of this product is 1 m CE90 or better. The estimated thematic accuracy of this product is 60% or better as it is based on visual interpretation of high resolution optical imagery. Damage classes are assigned to buildings and roads, specifically: Destroyed (100%), Highly damaged (70-99%), Moderately damaged (40-69%), Negligible to slight damage (1-39%). Shadowed areas are zones of lower interpretation accuracy due to the poorer image radiometry. Only the area enclosed by the Area of Interest has been analyzed.
