COMPANY HISTORY

1969 - First. plastic cards (Diners Club, American Express) appeared in the

Intourist network of hotels and stores.

1992 – Former Intourist specialists establish United Card Service (UCS).

1992 - 2000. The market of card issuance and servicing is actively developing,

taking in all consumer sectors and above all retail trade, hotel and restaurant

business.

2000. UCS passed VISA International и MasterCard International certification and

begins to service bank card issuing programs.

The share of UCS in the bank card acceptance market is 40%. The total UCS acquiring turnover in 2007 exceeded US$ 3.5 billion.

In 2007 UCS processed about 25 million transactions in retail trade.

The Company provides services to about 50 thousand Merchants, where Point-of-

Sale terminals and electronic cash-register devices for card acceptance are

installed.

One of the imperative stages of merchant acquiring system application is training of the personnel of the Merchants serviced by the Company in a specially established UCS Training Centre.

personnel and cashiers who work with plastic cards.

A «Gift Card» for a jubilee, wedding, New Year and other events is a product in great demand in the market and successfully operates for our partners.

The Gift Card encoding and accounting system is realized on the basis of standard acquiring equipment and does not require any special skills.

From the moment the project started over a million prepaid products have been

MOBILE PAYMENTS

The system of acceptance of payments to providers of various services, such as mobile operators, Internet and TV-providers, has been realized and successfully operates on the basis of ATMs and POS-terminals..

Payments can be made both with the use of a card and by cash.

When a payment is made with a card the ATM can also charge the payer

additional commissions in favour of the bank.
