Go to the St. Cloud State University homepage : www.stcloudstate.eduClick on the: Apply to St. Cloud State University button
CLICK on “Apply to St. Cloud State U

Click on: “APPLY ONLINE”
Students who HAVE a StarID from another MnSCU institution should select “Login”
Students who DO NOT have a StarID from another MnSCU institution should select “Create StarID”
Students who HAVE a StarID from another MnSCU institution should enter their StarID and Password; then select “Login”
Students who DO NOT have a StarID from another MnSCU institution need to create a StarID
Type in your legal first and last name. Please do not use nicknames.
Enter your unique email address. This email address may not be used by anyone else.
Create a password following the directions listed above the password fields.
Click “Get my StarID”
You will receive a message similar to the one below.
IMPORTANT: Please be sure to keep a copy of your StarID and password in a safe place.

Verify that your legal name and email address are correct.

Insert your date of birth. (This information is needed by the Minnesota Department of Education to reimburse your school.)
