Story: Elsie

• Elsie is 72 years old and a mother. She suffered a stroke 15 years ago which left her paralysed and without her speech. Elsie relies on her family and carers to help her live her life to the fullest.
• Elsie has to rely on others to access the information.
• Would like to plan visits by booking on line in advance.
• Doesn’t trust and understand technology.

Story: Alex

• Alex is a young man with a keen interest in World War Two. He requires support for various aspects of his daily living after being diagnosed with autism, a severe learning disability and a mental health condition. Alex receives support from his family and Personal Assistants.
• Alex relies on others to access his GP services• Would like to use online system to engage with
health but requires support• Current process leaves him powerless,
frustrated and marginalised
