DfA in the Information Society
Broad and multidisciplinary connotation, abstracting over different perspectives ; design (Bühler & Stepahnidis, 2004) of interactive products, services and applications of products, which have standardized interfaces of products which are easily adaptable to different users.
In the Information Society, the adoption and practice of DfA, although advocated by many actors in the field, still presents significant challenges, due to the inherent characteristics of the sector, and in particular to established industry practice and curriculum for DfA.
