Wireless Sensor Network Development Kit
The recent advances in wireless communication and
electronics have led to the prominence of Wireless
Sensor Network (WSN) as the backbone technology for
various Control and Automation applications. WSN is a
network sustained by the collaborative efforts of large
number of sensor nodes which sense a physical
parameter, process and communicate the recorded data
to a Central Gateway for storage and further analysis.

Ubiquitous Agriculture (U-Agri)
U-Agri is a solution developed based on WSN for pest
and disease forewarning in agricultural crops. The
TMdevices used in U-Agri are C-Mote which can handle
various kinds of sensors for monitoring micro-climatic
parameters like Soil Moisture, Soil Temperature, Leaf
Wetness, Atmospheric Temperature and RelativeHumidity in the agricultural field. The numerous C-Motes
spanned over the field can be networked among
themselves and finally connected to the gateway
TM(WINGZ ) for monitoring/ gathering the data over the
TM TMweb. C-Mote and WINGZ can also harvest energy
from renewable sources like solar to sustain for longer
durations.
Smart Building
Smart building is equipped with networked devices to
sense and actuate the appliances in home or office
environments. These devices are capable of sensing
(presence, energy usage etc) parameters in a building
and direct the user accordingly. The applications are self
adjustable to various usage patterns based on different
users.
