Pacific Bath A comfortable bathing solution designed for installation into domestic and residential environments. The Pacific is available in a variety of tub sizes, enabling it to be installed in a wide range of spaces. The Pacific is constructed with a study height adjustable chassis, lifting the tub from 720mm up to 1085mm (depending in the tub size).

The patient is easily transferred into the bath with the secure seat which provides lift and rotation from outside the tub. Rotation of the patient seat can be specified as powered or manual.

A variety of options are available, such as WRAS Category 5 protection in the form of a ‘shepherds crook’ shower pole, a detachable seat and transport chassis, 12 jet air spa, and Neatfold stretcher.

Senta Bath HoistThis hoist provides almost effortless transfer of patients into and out of the bath, and is a good alternative to sling transfer. Compatible with most of our care baths and with a weight capacity of 150kg, the Senta offers a flexible hoisting solution.

The optional wings enable the user to choose how much extra support is required. After adding first one wing to support the back, a second can be added to support the legs. The wings are adjustable in angle.

AquaClean 8000 plus CareThe AquaClean 8000 plus Care combines the functions of a toilet and bidet with the comfort of warm air drying and odour extraction. This free standing toilet is height adjustable (at install), features a specially designed seat to facilitate side transfers and is strengthened to take 400kg. The AquaClean 8000 plus Care comes as standard with an integrated control panel, a digital remote control with function memory and an infrared remote which offers a truly touch-free operation. NivanoThe Nivano is an easy-to-operate height-adjustable shower and changing table, which is available is lengths from 1200mm to 1900mm. The Nivano has a maximum user weight of 135kg (21 stones), a lift range of 700mm and can easily lift a patient from near floor level to a convenient height for washing and changing. Folding neatly away when not in use, the Nivano has a small projection of just 220mm from the supporting wall, and features battery back-up for safe lowering in the event of a power failure.

Robby Bath SeatThe Robby offers a comfortable mesh support surface, which can be adjusted to suit the specific postural needs of the user.

Unlike many bath supports, the Robby can be positioned very low in the water thus allowing it to be used with smaller bath tubs successfully. The adjustable ratchet joints allow the head, back, seat and leg sections to be positioned correctly for the user. Telescoping side tubes allow you to extend the support to meet the needs of a growing user.

All Shower/Toilet Commode Chairs illustrated fit over a standard toilet

1. Select your frame

Choose the model from the range shown, i.e. T40

Select the seat width required: A – 540mm (21”); B – 490mm (19”); C – 440mm (17”) Please note: Bariatric chair frames are available for up to 31” width, please ask.

2. Select your seat

Select the required type of seat and the size of aperture required, i.e. Medium Horseshoe, etc.

Is an extended seat required? (all seats available with 50mm or 75mm extension to the front to provide additional support.)

Seats for automatic bidet models are supplied with a vinyl skirt. Horseshoe or aperture seats are supplied with commode pan sliders unless otherwise specified.

3. Select your backrest

Choose between Horizontal or Vertical push handles. Vertical handles can be useful where space is restricted or against a WC cistern.

4. Select your armrests

Sedoccia Shower Chair The Sedoccia brings a whole new dimension to height adjustable showering. Where competitive products are unstable at height, with entrapment points throughout their lifting mechanisms, the Sedoccia is freshly designed to enable stable lifting with minimal moving parts. An excellent range of height adjustment is made possible through use of vertical lifting columns. Patient tilt is enabled through simple seat adjustment, all controlled by the waterproof handset. Swivel and rotating patient armrests provide safety and security, whilst the active patient headrest automatically provides extra support when the chair is tilted. A waterproof padded seat and back is provided for maximum comfort, with a panel which slots in providing a hygiene opening either at the front or the rear of the seat.

Wealden Rehab has been involved with the design and installation of ceiling hoists systems for over a decade. Pro-Fit SlingThe Pro-Fit style is a very useful general purpose sling, providing maximum comfort and support to a large proportion of people. The leg paddles are quilted as standard. A head support is available as an option.

This sling can be used in a divided leg or hammock position. Additional side tapes can also be fitted at no extra cost. This allows for a different weight distribution that may be preferable for clients who suffer pain in the knees.

Longseat SlingThis is a basic style sling that can be used to transfer clients, for example, from bed to chair. Tinkham SlingThis sling has been designed to meet the needs of the most active client, with special features that will ensure a safe and secure transfer.

Along with a built-in neck roll and hinged hip-tapes, this design will assist in the breaking of extensor thrust. The in-built external chest strap with clunk-click buckles wraps around the client making the client feel more secure.

The Uni Slide allows a one directional slide (back into a chair or up the bed) then locks, preventing the patient sliding out of position. Lateral Transfer Slide & Transfer SheetThe Lateral Transfer Slide has a smooth surface and non-slip base allowing a patient to be moved from one surface to another without the need to be lifted.

In order for this to be true, we need to ensure that the seat

dimensions are accurate.

Seat width – the width of the seat should refl ect the width of the

users pelvis with space for clothing. Leave a thickness of your palm

between the users hip and the seat i.e. around 3cm each side

Seat depth – the depth of the seat is vital to maintenance of a good,

comfortable posture. Measure from the back of the bottom to the back

of the knee, then subtract around 3cm to ensure that the chair does not

contact the back of the knee.

If the seat is too deep, the user will slide forward into a sacral slump.

Too short, and the seat causes increased pressure on the back of the thighs.

Seat height – measure from the heel to the back of the knee.

Optimum position is thigh horizontal, and enough space

to slide your fi nger under the front of the seat and the thigh

without too much pressure.

Distributing the bodies weight over a larger surface

area will help reduce pressure. The use of pressure

relieving cushions and foams will help prevent

the development of pressure ulceration. Inclusion

of a tilt-in-space function is also excellent for

redistribution of pressure points.

Normally the area of greatest risk in sitting is

the Ischial Tuberosities (the sitting bones).

Mostly we aim to provide a seat which positions

the users hips, knees and ankles at 90 degrees.

This is widely recognised as the ‘neutral position’

where stability and function are maximised.

The basic seating position should ensure that:

� With the person seated in the midline with their feet fl at

on the fl oor the seat height should be the same as the

measurement from the fl oor to the back of their knee.

The angle at ankles and knees should be approximately

90° and hips slightly more than 90°.

� When seated the pelvis should be level and not rotated

or tilted in either plane.

� To ensure weight is spread evenly along the length of both

thighs the seat should extend from back of buttocks to

about 2.5cm from back of knees.

� When seated with hips at 90˚ the full length of the

person’s back should be supported by the backrest.

� When seated in the midline the armrests should support

both forearms with elbows at approximately 90°. Shoulders

should be supported and be comfortable and level.

Valencia MultiThe Valencia Multi has the ability to be set at different seat heights, and the legrest length can be adjusted to suit. The backrest upholstery is attached by Velcro, and can be changed between waterfall and lateral support cushion styles. By using the separate backrest infills of 25mm and 50mm, the effective seat length of the chair can be altered to suit a user.

The Dual system has a digital controlled pump unit using I.P.S (Intelligent Pressure Sensing) which controls accurately the pressure within the cells. Comodo Mobile Changing Table

The Comodo offers a safe sturdy transfer option for all patients up to 150kg.

The adjustable height platform is operated by a dual-sided pedal, or a handset-controlled actuator. The platform can be tilted to a trendelenburg position by a hydraulic control.

The platform is manufactured from a non-corrosive laminate, and a wipe-clean mattress is supplied for patient comfort. The padding of the mattress has an electro-welded anti-bacterial cover.

Full length sturdy safety rails are provided on all four sides of the platform. The rails on both the long sides are foldable, with a release operated by one hand.

Each corner of the platform is protected by a buffer wheel, which also helps to protect your doors and walls from scuffing. These buffers are removable should you need to reduce the width of the stretcher.

The Comodo is easily manoeverable, on four large locking castors. One directional locking castor helps to overcome drifting when transferring down long corridors or over carpeted floors.

The Comodo is available with either hydraulic or battery controls.

Comodo Evo

Comodo Evo models have an adjustable head section for additonal support. The EVO models also have a folding head-section safety rail to accommodate longer users.
