From my perspective, drunk driving is an issue never to be neglected, since it poses a great threat to road safety, even threatening people’s lives. In view of the seriousness of this problem ， firstly, effective measures must be taken before things get worse. It is essential that the role of laws and regulations should be strengthened to punish those performing drunken driving. Secondly ， education should be carried out by the relevant department. In this way, the public, especially drivers, are able to enhance their awareness of road safety. With stringent laws and alert public ， it will only a matter of time for drunken driving to become things of past. (Only when the government and individuals shoulder their responsibility will we live in a safe and harmonious society.)
