Blessed be your nameIn the land that is plentiful
Where the streams of abundance flow
Blessed be your name
Blessed be your nameWhen I'm found in the
desert placeThough I walk through the
wildernessBlessed be your name
Every blessing you pour out,I turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord still I will say...
Blessed be the name of the LordBlessed be your name
Blessed be the name of the LordBlessed be your glorious name
Blessed be your nameWhen the sun's shining down
on meWhen the world's all as
it should beBlessed be your name
Blessed be your nameOn the road marked
with sufferingThough there's pain
in the offeringBlessed be your name
Blessed be your nameOn the road marked
with sufferingThough there's pain
in the offeringBlessed be your name
Blessed be the name of the LordBlessed be your name
Blessed be the name of the LordBlessed be your glorious name
You give and take awayYou give and take away
My heart will choose to say Lord, Blessed be your name
(repeat 3 x's)
Blessed be the name of the LordBlessed be your name
Blessed be the name of the LordBlessed be your glorious name

Acts 10:9-48 p. 764
Mark 16:9-16 p. 709
About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. 10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. 11 He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners.
12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles of the earth and birds of the air. 13 Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.” 14 “Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.” 15 The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”
16 This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven.
Acts 10:9-16
24 The following day he arrived in Caesarea. Cornelius was expecting them and had called together his relatives and close friends. 25 As Peter entered the house, Cornelius [a Roman solder (thus an enemy of the Jews) and a Gentile (thus not Jewish in blood)] met him and fell at his feet in reverence. 26 But Peter made him get up.
“Stand up,” he said, “I am only a man myself.” 27 Talking with him, Peter went inside and found a large gathering of people. 28 He said to them: “You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with a Gentile or visit him. But God has shown me that I should not call any man impure or unclean. Acts 10:24-28
“I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism. but accepts people from every nation who fear him and do what is right.
Acts 10:34,35
To what one person will you be like Peter this week?
In my own little world it hardly ever rains
I’ve never gone hungry, always felt safe
I got some money in my pocket shoes on my feet
In my own little world population me
I try to stay awake through the Sunday morning church
I throw a twenty in the plate but I never give ’til it hurts
And I turn off the news when I don’t like what I see
It’s easy to do when it’s population me
What if there’s a bigger pictureWhat if I’m missing out
What if there’s a greater purposeI could be living right now
Outside my own little world
Stopped at the red light, looked out my window
I saw a cardboard sign said “Help this homeless widow”
Just above that sign was the face of a human
I thought to myself, “God, what have I been doing?”
So I rolled down my window and I looked her in the eye
Oh how many times have I just passed her byI gave her some money then I drove on through
In my own little world there’s population two
What if there’s a bigger pictureWhat if I’m missing out
What if there’s a greater purposeI could be living right now
Outside my own little worldMy own little world
Oh O Ohhhhh, Oh O Ohhhhh
Oh O Ohhhhhhhhh
Father break my heart for what breaks Yours
Give me open hands and open doorsPut Your light in my eyes and let me see
That my own little world is not about me
What if there’s a bigger pictureWhat if I’m missing out
What if there’s a greater purposeThat I could be living right now
I don’t wanna miss what mattersI wanna be reaching out
Show me the greater purposeSo I can start living right now.
Outside my own little world,My own little world
My own little world…
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
The Lord bless you and keep you!
The Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you!
The Lord look on you with favor and give you peace!

and the path you walk, at times may hide before you
Take his hand and He will see you safely Home

Do not doubt as you stand upon the water
Neither let the wind and the rain tear you down
For at times when your faith isn’t strong enough
and you feel your body sinkingCall to Him and
He will catch you in His hands
Give me Jesus,
Give me Jesus
You may have This whole world

Do not let your soul be fearfulNeither let it be dismayed
For neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,
nor the present or the futureCan separate us from Gods love
that’s found in Him
Give me Jesus,
Give me Jesus
You may have This whole world
Give me Jesus
