NOTES:EVERYONE WHO HEARS THESE WORDS AND PUTS THEM INTO PRACTICE IS LIKE A WISE MAN WHO BUILT HIS HOUSE ON THE ROCK. – MATTHEW 7:24

WELCOME TO CROSSINGS COMMUNITY CHURCH

We’re so glad you’ve chosen to join us in worship today. Over the next hour, we will sing a few songs, join together in prayer, and hear a message that speaks to how truth and faith intersect with our lives today. In a world that pulls us in so many directions, this time of worship helps us remember what is most important as we turn our hearts and minds toward God.

We’d love to know you’re here today, so take a moment to fill out the Connection Card found in this worship guide, which includes a place where you can let us know about prayer concerns and/or questions you might have. Place the Connection Card into the offering plate/basket or into a BLUE BOX, found at each exit. Thanks again for gathering with us today at Crossings!

NEW TO CROSSINGS?Stop by Guest Central in the Atrium today after the service. We would love to meet you!

WANT TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP IN YOUR FAITH?Visit Next Step in the Atrium following the service today. We would love to help you find a class, group or personal spiritual growth plan!

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. — Matthew 7:7-8 (ESV)

I want deliberately to encourage this mighty longing after God. The lack of it has brought us to our present low estate. The stiff and wooden quality about our religious lives is a result of our lack of holy desire. Complacency is a deadly foe of all spiritual growth. Acute desire must be present or there will be no manifestation of Christ to His people. He waits to be wanted. Too bad that with many of us He waits so long, so very long, in vain. — A. W. Tozer, The Pursuit of God

Put this card somewhere you will see it each day this week.

What is your greatest concern or need today?Turn that into a prayer - ask God for what you need.

As you think about your agenda or calendar today, how might you begin each task ‘in-tune’ with God? Do that.

In the moments you feel disconnected or distant from God, don’t turn away. Keep knocking, keep asking, keep seeking Him. Don’t give up today.

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.- MATTHEW 7:7
