T - series

TAPPING HEADS:

MATAC tapping heads offer a convenient method of assisting in thread tapping work. They have a wide range

and can be used in combination with almost all available machine tool spindle types.

The system utilises a stepless adjustable clutch to avoid breaking taps. At the end of the tapping process the

tapping head will automatically reverse its tapping direction and withdraw from the hole.

The tap is held in a “RUBBERFLEX” collet which accepts small differences in the centre-line of the tap and

the hole, this gives a self centering effect.

MATAC tapping heads are compact and strong, offering a revolutionary method of solving your

horizontal and vertical tapping applications.
